Thanks for advice a while back for looking at 430s. My wife gave me a $100000 budget so I purchased an 03 360 F1 red/tan with shields, rear challenge, power daytona seats, red calipers, and modular wheels. I purchased from dealer in North carolina with updated service and one year powertrain. Had good experience with dealer they took care of everything. I've owned a C5 Corvette and various 3rd and 4th gen Trans Ams before this. My first impressions are the 360's ride, handling, steering are much better on corners and overall driving. The acceleration is just a little better. I assume this is because of 400Hp vs 300-350 in the other cars. Overall This is the best car I 've own so far. I can only imagine what the 458 will be like.

Congrats, looks beautiful. But in the current market, 100k is at the VERY high end of the price range for an '03 coupe. 430s have sold for 105-110k lately.

A Ferrari is much more than just "numbers". The more you drive it, the more you will appreciate it.

    My suggestion: drive it often!

Best of luck. She looks like a 'bute.

Aw, give the guy a break. Don't burst his bubble. As you know, you get what you pay for, especially with Ferrari. That's why they threw in the powertrain warrantee. Buying from a dealer may be a bit more $, but knowing those guys, they will stand behind small problems which arise, even if not covered by the warrantee. That would not happen if the car was purchased from afar. In my book, that is worth a couple extra $. To each his own!

Congrats!! Your first Ferrari and a 360, good choice! Enjoy the car and drive it often, they are not collector items! The 360 can be very unforgiving in the rain, watch the oversteer.

Stay with all the yearly maintenance and the car should pay you back in kind.

'03 with F1 with decent miles, perfect condition, records and from a dealer is current market (i.e., a good bargain for such an incredible car). so good job - you got a good deal on one of the most beautiful high-performance exotic sports cars in the world!

What? Might be a better question. Everything has it's price, high or low.'

In most cases, you get what you pay for...

    Beautiful coupe. Congrats.

Where has a 430 sold for $105-$110k lately? I did not see one sell for under $145k when I was looking 6 months ago and don't see any now for sale under $130k. Seems nicely optioned low milage red 360 coupes like this one, are selling for around $100k right now so he either paid market or got a deal it seems.
