After several months of refinement and changes, the first one is finally done on my car! Production should begin very shortly. Available in full CF and also DVWP (dry vac woven plastic/glass). It felt like half the weight of the stock bumper, not even being made of carbon. Fitment came out very good. It uses all of the stock mounting points and all hardware is included, unlike others that require a trip to home depot. To me its a good option for those that want something different, a little more aggressive, yet still flows with the original style. Somewhat encorporates the Stradale and 430 together.

I really like that - what do you think the costs are likely to be to Jo Public?

Nice. Half the weight scares me though. I've had mine off and they are already pretty flimsey.

I think the bumper looks great.

How about an option to have skid plates pre-installed before they're delivered.
This would save your customers a lot of time and, potentially, money.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Its not my company, but I did try and give them some pointers in the design. Wanted to keep as much "Ferrari" in it as possible. Skid plates are on mine, I'm sure they can offer that as an option. They wanted to make it easy for installation. They said it was the most complex bumper mold they have ever made, as the bolts are studded into the bumper. I will ask about price/availability. They have the complete mold so they can technically make them now. A couple weeks for completion.

Its definitely not flimsy. Even if so, its bolted on in many places, and is not structural. Weight savings is always good! And since it mimicks the Stradale front end, it probably adds much needed downforce at speed.

    Will report back with pricing.

Looks nice....not too sure about the side vents.....similar to the CS, but not quite as elegant. Either way, a nice option to consider.

The two big questions....How much and When will they be available???

Sorry - Been getting settled here in Rome.

Intro price for first 5 is 3,495. Production begins in about 2 weeks, after a few fine tuning changes with the hardware integration for a perfect fit. Thereafter, they can produce about 2 units every week. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will send you more info. Also, all mfg is located in So Cal.

Its also available in full carbon, but I dont have price for that yet.

    oops - at $3500 + shipping + installation + painting = over $5,000.
    Well I'm out ; (

    ok NEXT option

    - I have an idea that I am going to work on. To the F-Chatters, what would be a cost that you would find reasonable ??? I would think $500 to $1,500; based cost on BMW accessories. I JUST MIGHT have a source.

I will tell you that this was no easy process.. I am not here to sell pieces as it doesnt make a difference to me, but to explain the complexity of the 360 bumper. The mounting is quite complex if you want it to come ready to install, correctly. You can find others for around 2500 from asia, but require a lot of modifications to fit correctly. Or novitec for 5k +. Either way, none of them look good AND fit well. I am not in the business but I dont think its possible to come out with a qualtiy, well fitted and good looking product for that price range, with the small market that there is. With that said, my point is that its not a matter of gouging, but there are higher costs associated with it. My humble opinion and understanding. Cheers.

I will have to respectively disagree with you. I had a BMW and had a OEM M5 front bumper with the lights installed from a local body shop and the cost was $900 for bumper + + + for a total of $1,200. SO I would disagree that the cost is associated with anything but being a Ferrari upcharge. No disrespect.

You can currently get tons of BMW parts at pennies compared to Ferrari. AND there really is no reason, but the exception of it being a ferrari. I know that it is what it is.

I was just saying that for around $1,500 for a bumper.
Just my personal opinion is that I would pay a total of $2500 to have a bumper that will actually de-value the car in MOST (not mine) opinions.

I do agree that the design is very very nice, I guess I am just getting burned out with ferrari fee's associated with owning the car.

    again - very nice design

with ANY bodykit, there will always be tweaking involved during installation in order to get a perfect fit

nice job on the man-up mod, but i think the CS bumper looks better than that one imo.

I think you missed my point - the two things that brings the price up relative to being a Ferrari is the limited demand/quantity. Simple economies of scale, not just because "its a Ferrari." Secondly, because of the complex design, a lot more man hours went into it than a typical BMW/Porsche bumper that they also mfg. But I do agree with you, its not a drop in the bucket to get the thing done, fitted and painted. For those that want it, its there! :)

No one told you about the higher costs associated with owning a Ferrari?? ;)

Hubert, the CS is really really hard to beat.. one of my favorite all time designs.

    Cheers.

It is a nice piece, but even you have to agree it is an expensive option. I find it interesting that since it's for a Ferrari it should cost 2x. I accept the fact that if I go to Ferrari and buy a Ferrari part, I'm going to have to pay, and pay heavy for the original.

I wish you luck on your endeavor as I'm sure you'll get some interested parties that are not as price sensitive as I am for such a part.

    Cheers~

Once a mold is made it really is just pouring it and the cost of the material (right ???). So there is no real difference between the cost to make a BMW body part vs a Ferrari body part. However there are most likely more BMW fans that will mod a car then Ferrari owners. SO the return on your time is really what you are looking to achieve. The BMW body parts are as extreme as yours etc.

Personally, If I were you I would offer it at a lower number and I think you will be surprised how many of us would opt for the bumper. I would.

I have done the following mods:

    - existing challenge grilles (front & rear) / tubi ngt racing exhaust / fat ass exhaust tips / hyperflow cats / yellow brakes to match factory shields / lowered suspension / rolled fenders / 19" & 20" in the rear (Vellano wheels) / red paddle shifters / xm, dvd receiver with 10" sub / rear back up camera / clear bra / hard wired for V-1 / blah blah blah

Thanks for the input. I will forward it on. I have no affiliation with the company, I just allowed them to use my car for testing, fitting, etc.

A lot of the steps and difficulties were explained to me and I tried to mention them, but the 360 bumper IS different from your run of the mill BMW/Porsche bumpers. Its not so much the outside design and appearance as the inside structure, hardware, and integration thereof. Maybe I can get them to explain better than I can.

I have no say in the price, I am simply the messenger. But I will forward this on. I was hoping for a sub 3k price. Maybe if we can get volume up we can do something. will report back.
