The transformation is complete. I went from a 575 + bbi512 + 993TT to these guys. The gt3rs and the SA offer a great combination of racy and GT. Great feeling driving each one. I will miss my previous ones, but I am hoping these will be keepers (probably wishful thinking!). I was originally going to go with a CS, but I wanted to stay with a Porsche for their club events :) - the CS itch is still there however... Thanks for the various input I got along the way from the forum.

I have been thinking of selling my 993C2S and getting a GT3 but I have had it for 10 years. I have the ferrari part covered. :)

Great combination of cars. The SA really is the best open top GT to be had today

Hi guys. Funny you should mention the GT. I REALLY wanted one and was going to get that instead of the SA, but my neighbor put in some speedbumps down the driveway (1/4 mile). I could not deal with that every time I would have taken the car out (bumps 3.25, clearance 3.375)

Maybe one day he'll move (or I will), then I'll get the GT :)

For now, I think these will give me nice variety of driving experience and they surely are pretty to look at!

One point on the SA, though it has the GTC package, I find myself using the regular setting more. My initial impression is that the sports setting is too stiff for the flex induced by the drop top. I'm curious if anyone else has any thoughts on this.

That's odd, how does he have the authority to install speedbumps? Isn't that something done by the town?

    Very nice.

Have to get used to the different seats color for the SA, but definitely refreshing.

Yes the car was from FoSF! and yes the bb and tt were hard to let go. I just decided that as much as I loved the way they looked and drove I didn't have the patience for dealing with older cars at this moment. I hope to go back sometime as I really dig 275's.

That is the best looking SuperAmerica I have ever seen
You mentioned the CS, and I would rather have the CS. It is a track car like the GT3RS, but I don't like Porsche styling at all. Also the color combo screams Halloween ;) Now there are a few exceptions like the CGT you mentioned, 959, the 917's and the 956 :)

I believe it was Nov. 25th (Saturday after Thanksgiving) where I saw a GT3 RS that looked exactly like yours in Greenwich. Even though it was a while ago, would you remember if it were yours?

    Nice collection by the way.

Thanks for the comments. Some responses:

I wish I could remove the speedbumps, but they are on "his" driveway (I have only a right of way).

Tarek, thanks, but not as nice as those on some of you posts in the popular "girls with ferrari's" thread.

Kent, I would love to add a nice mid engine car: Lotus, CS (if the finances allow) come to mind. That way it would be a great specimen from those three engine placements.

I currently have an RS6 for sale (shameless plug) on ebay (you'll recognze the driveway. That's my wife's car and will be replaced by the more pedestrian bmw 5 wagon. But I do have a lift....

Drumming Cannoli: I actually was in Greenwich with the RS looking at an SA, but it was late October!
