The road is closed to the public.

It is available to "rent". One of our club members did so and let all of us share in the fun.

Thank you Alex, it was a great time!

Here's a few of the shots that I took. The trip was really HOT and I'm sure glad my air conditioner worked.

All in all, a GREAT WEEKEND!!!!

On Sunday morning, a group of us drove over to Multnoma falls and then on to Mount Saint Helens- Johnston Ridge Observatory on the way back to Seattle. Other groups went off in different directions.

I assure you that Robert was doing the speed limit (or less) on the way back home. :)

    Great Pics guys!!!!!

So when is the next big trip? I will make sure to make the whole trip this time!
By the way that race track...urrrr, I mean road. What a kick in the A$$!!!!!!!
I think that is the first time Mimi (my girlfriend) didn't yell at me for going to fast. LOL!

All you guys left me there with the Lambo's though? They had me lead them back to Hood River as I was the only local. I guess 80-90mph wasn't quit fast enough for them. Soon I was trying to follow Roytoy and the Gallardo's. I think we made 50 miles in what to be about seemed 20 minutes. Thank God you cleared the path Robert!

Many thanks to the gentleman that arranged that private road by the way.

    Big Mike

    Robert,

    Where did you get zapped?

After I left you fine folks at Columbia Crest, I had a heck of a time out in the Horse Heaven with long straight blacktop and no traffic. I suspect you can all imagine what kind of liberties I took with the 50mph speed limit out there. ;)

Just before Hood River Bridge on the north side. I'm sure the Club's presence was well known by the WSP all along the Columbia River long before Robert got there.

Of course I was just puttin' along in my OldslowBMW.:p
