Watched the Chris Harris vid this morning. The on-the-fly adjustability of the chassis is wild. Super cool. Such a rad car but honestly not worth it if you don't intend to put it on a track. Travesty how many of these will never see duty for what they are so specialized for. I think Porsche knocked it out of the park with this one.

    Yup.

I bought my dot 1 RS with 247 mi on it for 30 below sticker- had 18 ways instead of buckets (only takes 5 min to swap out Sabelts). When I went to pair my phone the previous pairing said "Linda's phone." Dallas trophy wife.

Car has 6,580 mi on it 6,000 on track. My son's had to drive it to COTA when I had the 812 in the trailer. Otherwise, it's never seen the street.

    Saw that video too- unfrigginbelievable.

If I still tracked I'd go 19s with slicks, AP Racing steel brakes and seats in that beast....................

Yeah, driving the 812 to as as close lap times to the dot 1 as I could get is a blast and on the edge, but driving an RS on track is a whole other ball game. Polar opposites- one car gets light on its feet, the other one digs down deep! Harnesses sure get their workout.

It's really insane how fast it is for the power! Faster than a 918 spyder.

Apparently they did the run on a very windy day. So it might not even be the optimal time.

Aero really works, and you get the fastest laptimes by slowing down less for corner rather than trying to use excess power to make it up over the straights.
On street power thrills, and no one is maxing corner ability

I have always preferred "momentum" cars over "power" cars. Low weight with moderate power is always more fun on track or street, add in some real aero and its the prefect recipe for me.
