    Hey all,

So it seems that the builds are finishing up for the GTS - and I’ve been asked to lock my spec.

Azzuro La Plata metallic over mandarin orange leather.

PDF attached - love to hear opinion

love the exterior color. caliper choice works very well. I skipped the exterior carbon as well to keep costs down. black tailpipe works well. The interior color is either going to be amazing or a bust. I would have to see in person. in the pictures you have it looks stunning. looks like you got the right carbon in the interior. all in all i would say looks great and can't wait to see actual pictures when you get it. did i say i like the exterior color?!!!

    Thank you.

I tend to have specs that are a little risky. See my verde Jewel GTB and Turchese Molvedo Roma

Assuming you don't want to add too much additional cost, I would ditch PAC1 and HOLK. The parking cameras in the US are mandatory so why pay for them and a garage door opener, seriously? I have apps that open my garage doors, and either way you can use the clip on buttons that come with your opener. With the savings, I would add the carbon fiber wheel caps. Will make a big difference in the look since you have yellow nowhere else other than the shield. Later on you can swap out the yellow shield for the carbon fiber one and it will look really clean. I love the seats and la plata in person looks WAY better than the configurator.

Good feedback - PAC1 is already out - configurator issue

And for HOLK- I’m using HomeKit already and had carbon caps originally. This makes a lot of sense to me

The Azzurro La Plata is a nice mix with the Mandarin Orange leather. However for the seats I would not do the bianco leather on the seat bolster.
If you have confidence in the Mandarin try bringing it outside to in a subtle way. Change the silver calipers to orange. Also you could add an orange livery to. The livery could be a single thin central stripe or a dual stripe. For the tailpipes as Ferrari calls it I would go with silver as the exterior paint is a light shade and the black specified makes for a big contrast. Maybe you like that contrast? So mostly visual suggestions here and what you have listed on your build pages is a nice direction. If you are not sold on the orange interior another choice is Blu Medio that I think looks better than Blu Sterling, another option. Then blue calipers and a blue livery to again bring the inside outside.
The Verde Jewel is originally a tailor made exclusive 70th Anniversary paint color and still looks amazing for your 296 GTB!

I really like the la Plata and mandarin. Great choices there.

If you're going silver calipers, did you consider no shields and carbon wheel caps? Then you've got no yellow to match visually. Just blue, orange and silver all around. Or, carbon shields.

Or... what about orange calipers to match the interior?

White or silver Daytona inserts on the seats?

White thicker stripe with navy sides/accents?

I would also spec the forged wheels. yes, it is extra, but it makes a big difference visually over the alloy.

I have the diamond polished forged ones on my GTB. I’m very impressed by the silver paint on the Roma wheels- considering keeping the wheels as is for carbon driving zone and dash.

Considered inserts and it got busy - but without the bolster stripe it totally works.

I like the stripe - had it in the spec - but saving it for Speciale.

I have a weird thing about not having shields - talk me out of it - I asked for input!

yeah, LEDS and CITZ are an absolute must, so if you already like the look can't fault you there.

Under no circumstances would I spec a Ferrari without shields, so I agree with you there.

Have to say again how much I like the seats with the white piping and horse. well done!

Very nice overall, my thoughts for further refinement if thats what you would like:

The exterior color is a little soft, and the exterior designs especially the front is a little soft. I love ALP, I think the car is a pretty car, but it needs a little tension. To achieve this I suggest the single small stripe in dark blue- suggest Blu Scozia. This helps bring a bit more tension to the soft styling. ALP works very well with a dark blue. Some people go with white but I think it gets a bit lost.

The interior is a bit of a hard contrast between black and orange, this causes the interior and exterior to be a little out of sync with each other. To get them more in sync, in addition to the above mentioned stripe Id change the black dash elements to dark blue. Id probably make the carpets dark blue too. Change the white stitching and other elements to dark blue. A further step: go with blue carbon for the interior elements you’ve selected.

On the exterior if you want to skip the carbon fiber, then go with the optional forged in matte Grigio Corsa as this will compliment the grey plastic bits very nicely. Or go with silver wheels and you could do blue brake calipers.

Really like the spec. I have a car GTS in port grigio titanio with mandarino Antigua interior really pops in comparison to the orange. It’s hard to tell in the configurator. I don’t know if it works with your exterior color. I was on the fence about shields since I went “gold” (really copper) calipers but resale was nagging my mind since I had thought I would get a Speciale allocation. But I clearly see no shields is the avant garde trend to make a car stand out in a sea of fender shields.

I’ve been thinking of getting a pair of replacement shields and customizing them in copper to match the caliper. Then again I’m back and forth whether I keep the car long term or 181 days. I already have to get a replacement set of CF door sills, since I got caught up in the excitement at Atelier and put my name on them.

Your interior choices are similar to mine in terms of the look. I went for Cuoio Toscano leather. I have the ILS2 seat bolster inserts in Grigio Chiaro which looks almost white. It appears to be quite a rare option choice. I had the dash insert (around the binnacle) finshed in the same colour so that the seats tied in better with the rest of the interior. That is option code PIP0. You can request to have the stitiching on the Daytona insert strips finished to match your chosen interior thread colour which is option code OTCV from memory. It makes a significant visual difference as the standard finish is thread colour to match your leather colour which would be orange.
