Yes indeed! Welcome to the Board,Frank-from another Frank,who has a son named Frank,and a Grandfather named Frank,and no less than 4 Buds named Frank! ...

I caught the Corvette Bug when I was 8, (1968) when an older Neighbor got back from Viet Nam and bought a Brand New Silver '68 'Vette Convertible. (1st year of the "Shark" Body Style) I stared at that car out of my window Every Single day...Wanted one ever since....

Then,when I was about 17,(1977) saw a Red 308GTS....Then,I just had to have one of those....

Well,got my 1st,of 7 Corvettes when I was 25. I had 3 at once on 2 occassions. Then,almost got my Dream Car 308 a few other times in my 30's. But,fate as it were,I didn't. I got Divorced from Wife #1 in 1999. Had to sell 2 of the 3 'Vettes,and almost lost the 3rd.one,had it not been my only Car. I can only imagine that if I had gotten the Ferrari,it would have been gone,too. Then,a few more attempts-Not the Right Car,Sold already,Etc...

But,fate turned for the Better in the Winter of '00,'01. I was prepared to go anywhere in the Country for the Right Car. There were a couple 328's,348's and 355's here in the Chicago Area,in December. I could have gotten one of them-all great Cars. But No 308's. And,my First Ferrari HAD TO be a Red 308....Nothing else would do. And....in January of '01,I found it right here in the Chicago Area at LFSC. The Car was Perfect! So,I finally got my Ferrari when I was 40.

My point is....Your Dream will come true one day,too. Don't give up hope....

Oh,Man! Being Italian,you GOTTA get a Ferrari!!!... Well,right now,I see 365 GTB/4 Coupes going for around $130K. Some alittle less,some a little more....But,one thing is for sure...they aren't going to be going down anymore in value. A few years ago,they were in the $119K Range....
