Bought my first Ferrari and being a member of Rennlist.com which is a forum for Porsche I thought it would be a good idea to join. The 86 328 GTS I have has been mistreated and abused, there should be a law against this. I was told it has been sitting for a year but when I saw it more like two years. The motor is seized, the interior has mildew, I found out today the starter does not work, lid struts are bad and all the rubber even the tires are cracked. The body has a few dents and dings but not to bad, and the doors are hard to open they seem to be sagging. Other then that its a great car.

Welcome new guy Lonnie. Congratulations on the purchase, is this the craigslist car out of far east TX that was sitting on a trailer? You will have a lot to share with us in this process. I'm looking forward to it.

Welcome! I saw the pics on the other thread: looks like mostly cleaning and replacement of all the rubber & leather, stuff a lot of these cars need unless it's already been done. Kudos for "saving" this one! Forrest
