    Hi all my name is Jacques and I am from South Africa. I am huge Ferrari fan, am 20 years old(young I know but I am told I know a lot for my age)

    My love affair with Ferrari started when I saw a Testarossa model car, the following year I went in my first Ferrari, a 1976 308 GTB, I was all of 10 years old at the time. The feeling of power, that special emotional bond was incredible and since then I have read up lots on Ferrari and I have been priveldged to have been in a: Modial T, 348 with Tubi, 355-also with Tubi( to my end of school dance), 360 spider(at 180 mph top down), 360 coupe, both passengered and driven(drove that when I was 19)

    I have some really great friends, older than me and I have written a few articles for our local Ferrari club.

    Here in SA we wide open spaces ans great moutain passes which are truly great roads for Ferraris.

    Apart from Ferraris I have also been in a Lambo Murcielago (270 km/h), Lambo Diablo, Masserati 4200 GT.

    But its Ferrari that is so special to me and everyday I wake up and know that today I must study hard with the knowledge that with hard work I can get myself a Ferrari of my own.

    Sorry for droning on and on.

    sounds like you've been in quite a few ferraris, i've only been in one, a 355.

    The really horrid thing about PE is.......it doesnt have a Ferrari dealer... There is a very good game lodge outside PE, is called Shamwari, has very high rating internationally.

    Very interesting collection of Ferraris you have, actually I like the 365, carb motor sounds great.

    Welcome,

    I am a non-owner as well, at least until after Christmas when I will be back in Malaysia. Have decided to get a 355 Berlinetta that I have instructed my brothers to look out for. They are car nuts themselves and have found one with the necessary provenances and history.

    Will keep the board posted on the experience when I get behind the wheel of my very first Ferrari...

    IMO this site is the best Ferrari fan get together anywhere in this world..
