very impressive, credit where credit is due. Admitidly suprized based off the evo review stating it was not a good track car.

Surprising verdict considering most UK reviews were quite lukewarm.

If I remember correctly Lamborghini has had some bad experiences with journalists crashing their cars so is it possible that they might have dialed in some safe understeer in the early test cars that are absent on production cars?

Yes this is what I am wondering, because I just don't see how the MT car is the same car that was at the Spain launch event. I am very curious what the difference(s) are between those press cars and this MT one...

When Balboni was interviewed he stated that the cars were engineered to be safe, meaning a fair amount of understeer was dialed into the chassis. The exception was the 2WD cars, like the Balboni edition, which he indicated "you had to drive". Sounds like this has continued.

It is a beautiful looking car, for sure.

Looks like a Star Wars Vehicle :)

    From the article:
A road-going version of the LP620-2 Super Trofeo race car, a spiritual successor to the Gallardo Superleggera, is apparently in the works. That will be a very special Huracan, but until then this race car remains the most potent variant in the baby Lambo stable. Thanks to Jordan Shiraki, we have these stunning images of the first model arriving in the US at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. Upon revealing the Super Trofeo last year, Lamborghini said it "is an all-new car built from scratch with a clear racing concept."

    I'll say!

I'd love to hear from someone that's both lived with, and tracked, both for a while, but that's some time off, I guess.

    And then there's the 488 . . .
