  1. A ferrari sitting in traffic is in the wrong place, what are your favorite roads to unleash the horse? and no I won't take the I-95 for an answer haha

so far the A1A isn't bad and you get some nice stretches going down to miami (if you missed the miami concours this year you have to go next year)

I've heard things about highway 27 out west, but I've never tried it out. Also I don't know how large police presence is on that road after some videos of people illegally racing there, I don't want to help meet a cop's quota just because of what I'm driving even if i'm not speeding

would love to hear your recommendations and appreciate any advice!

Just jump on A1A and head North - Go up through Lauderdale by the Sea - Stop at Aruba's for the best scallops you will ever have IMHO - then head up to/through Pompano (stop at FMFL if you have time) - then just keep going up through Delray Beach (stop at Boston's) and up through West Palm, Jupiter etc. - Not necessarily "fast" driving but wonderfully scenic with a lot of it being close to/within view of the ocean and many cool places to stop and stretch your legs. My SO and I are coaster freaks so each year we land in Tampa and hit Busch Gardens for two days - then drive to Orlando and hit Sea World and Universal for one day each - then drive to Lauderdale and take AiA the whole way. Have done the inverse too and it is a blast.

    Just a suggestion :)

I know you are probably looking at my profile and asking "why the hell should I take advice from some guy in Colorado" which is totally understandable - But we spend a LOT of time in Lauderdale and plan to move there within a few years so consider it where we "live" but we "work" in Colorado :)

    Cheers and enjoy!

Orange Drive near Lamborghini Broward is the only road in Southeast Florida with a couple curves in a row that I’m aware of. The roads here are just awful for enjoying an exotic. Get used to cruising in a straight line. The US1 tunnel in Las Olas is fun though.

Unfortunately we live in one of the worst areas of the country for fun driving roads. While places like the A1A are beautiful to look at and drive through, you're not doing much more than 40mph in a straight line. You're not going to find any areas for spirited driving unless you go west to Tampa or North of Orlando, just an unfortunate reality we live with down here as car lovers.

When I lived down there it was on ramps and exit ramps to get some curves. Us27 access roads (Weston) for some high speed blasts (that is where brooks from drag times shoots videos). Come on over to Tampa as we have some better roads. Head up north to dade city and even some rolling hills and curves!

No curves, but I-595 HOV lanes are where I let my car loose when I visit from Key West. Weekend mornings are best, road is empty and lightly patrolled. For a scenic drive, US1 from Key Largo to Key West is a fun trip and you can go fast on the Long Key and Seven Mile bridges if you don't mind passing at speed. Highway 27 can be fun north of Weston, have Waze and your radar detector enabled. I got pulled over at 105 mph last month, luckily officer was an afficionado and understood.

I have a place on A1A in Lauderdale by the Sea. When I’m there I drive that route almost everyday lol. Love it.

Yes Dade City, Brooksville lots of twists, but unfortunately so many moving to the area that construction is everywhere! I reserve my Ferrari drives to Sunday's, but still not like the old days.

Take 95 north to the mountains of North Carolina. :)

The roads here are the worst. Zero twisty sections and nightmarish traffic. Gridlock hell used to just be in Miami but the cancer has spread far into Broward as well.

There are a few stretches in central Florida and around Ocala, etc. but south Florida really has nothing driving wise.

My recommendation is to do a track day at Sebring or a trip to the mountains.
