Wish me luck everyone as I have sent a resume' to Lamborghini of Houston. They have several job opening's that I have experience in and hope to fill atleast one of them. This is the biggest job opportunity for me, pertaing to exotic's, since my run's at Ferrari of Houston. One of my biggest goal's in life has alway's been to work for Ferrari but I consider Lamborghini to be a very nice alternative as I have alway's loved them also.

Any member's here that could put in a 'good word' for me would be sincerely appreciated, wink wink.

    Merry Christmas,
    Gregg Travis

You 'sent' a resume? If you really want the job, go over there and hand deliver it. Ask to speak to the GM, hand him your resume, and give him a 30 second overview as to why you're the best fit. Ask him when would be a good time for you to call him back to discuss it further, then shake his hand and leave. Call him back at exactly the time he told you to.

Thank's for the advice and the reason I emailed my resume' is because that's how they requested it be done. I will personaly drop one off on wendsday and do as you have suggested, thank's again for your advice. After four try's at Ferrari of Houston I have pretty much given up hope of ever working there.

    Thank's,
    Gregg

Gregg, the GM is Gary Seale. I know him personally and have bought several cars from him. I suggest you call them up make an appointment with him, hand him your CV talk for a short time and leave. If he is intersted he will call you back or direct you to someone else in the dealership. He is always interested in TOP NOTCH people. If you are not in that group then you may not have much of a chance. GOOD LUCK.

Never heard from Lambo of Houston not even a courtesy return call but I did stop by Vintage Motorcar's today. I spoke with Ferda and got a tour of the whole shop, AMAZING simply AMAZING!!! Ferda is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet in my life and the car's they have there made me feel like I had walked through the pearly gate's of heaven! Too make a long story shorter he said that there just may be a place for me there but he need's the OK from the owner first. Without typing my finger's off one of the two tech/mechanic's that work there started out at my level of experience and knowledge and under Ferda's guidance is now one of the best.

He also told me I am welcome anytime to just stop by and say hi, until we know if I might come aboard, and I asked him about taking pic's and his answer was you can do that anytime also. He also said "You dont need to park out front either just come inside the gate's and park anywhere"!! I saw everything from some basic maintenance car's all the way to a frame-up restoration of a 300SL, engine's galore from Fcar V12's to an MGB frame-up resto engine, Fcar tranny's looking better than they did most likely off the assembly line.

Anyway I had to vent because I am estatic just thinking I might have a slight chance of fulfilling my life's goal and dream.

    Thank's for listening,
    Gregg

    PS,
BigTex your carb's are rebuilt and ready for installation!!! Oh and thank you, thank you, thank you for the reference I luv you man!!! LOL
