I think he's implying that he has a buyer at 500 over the original MSRP. The original MSRP here in the states is $1.45MM.
No, that is my point. He says over asking price. Asking price can mean the ask from the current owner which can be anything or MSRP which was around 1.4m. MSRP + £500k is unlikely to buy a LaF however. That would mean roughly $2.1m..
What I dont understand is that if someone does have the funds to pay that much over MSRP why didnt they just buy the F12, speciale, to get on the high priority list to be in line for a La Ferrari.?
I always thought that you have to be a super good customer, as in having have bought multiple cars over years to get allocated one.... I think even just buying an F12 won't get you on the list. just my $0.02
I've always thought this as well. I would imagine the same people who were selected to purchase the Enzo also had the opportunity to purchase a LaFerrari. Could be wrong though, I know I'll definitely never be on such list but you never know lol
A F12, speciale or even a 488, anyone can buy. A LaFerrari is a very special car, only for some and in few years time will value much more.
