I think that the car looks fantastic. So much so that I have to talk myself out of it, and not say that it looks like trouble here, to disuade other bidders.

The question here, is, as always is ,why? The answer, as always is, is supply and demand.

The car (as nice as it is and who wouldn't want it) shares the same space in the marketplace as the 330 GT 2+2 and the 308 GT4 (two other cars that I have to repeatedly talk myself out of). Well at least the 308 GT4 . And I know of some beautiful 330s. These are truly unloved in the marketplace regardless of what love and attention the previous owners have lavished upon them.

    That is it (period).

    Damn shame.

It is the exact opposite, or mirror image of the car of the month. It is the car that (almost) nobody wants. And that's a damn shame. But like others have said, the car is worth what someone is willing to pay.

    No more. No less.

Nonetheless, it still suprises me that more people don't realize that ownership of these cars is attainable to so many. I know the upkeep issues will scare some (many) away, but still?

It's a buyers market. Have at it guys. And iy looks like someone gets a beaut here. .... If they edge me out that is.

This car, and I'm not saying that it has to be, is as unoriginal as can be:
It has, except for the wooden panel over the transmission tunnel, a complete interior from a post-1979 400 car. The same goes for the red valve covers, the tires, power locks and the steering wheel.
As I said, I am not one of these people who insist that every car has to be 100% original, but this car, to me, is pretty screwed up. It is obvious that the guy put a lot of work into this car - but the way he did it..? And why can he not explain this in his ad..?
Also, the mileage shown, as we all know, is highly misleading. Rather than the claimed 24000 miles, the car is much more likely to have run 124,000 or even 224,000 km. Very strange car...
