Decided to remove the plasti dip from my wheels. I think I like the new look. I also just finished installing the test pipes and Capristo Stage 3. Jesus! This thing is down right scary under throttle! I love this car so much. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks everyone. I'm glad all that work was worth it. There's no going back now. That plasti dip was a nightmare to remove. Ended up using a power washer and goo gone. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if the wheels didn't have all those screws in them.
the black was nice. but I like this much better. the contrast on the car is much nicer. how come you didn't put the center caps back ? you put test pipes on a 97? you will get codes won't you ? please let me know the exact dimensions of your rims and tires front and rear size, witdth , offset etc and if you're running spacers.
I completely forgot to put my center caps back on until you said something! Ha! No codes. I used 90 degree elbows packed with wool for the O2 sensors. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
how long has it been since you are driving this setup ? codes may still pop up eventually. but hopefully not where did you get the 90degree o2 spacers. please share your full tire/rim setup. this is the 19" style rim I would like to eventually go to on my 97 Giallo GTB.
Not a fan of the matt black wheels but love the slightly Tilt Shift photograph. BTW, the new look is spectacular!
Only a few miles, but my Hyperflows had them as well and it never tripped a code. I've had a ton of cars with them and had no issues. Here is where I ordered mine. Amazon.com: Blackpath - Universal Fitment 2x Oxygen Sensor Extender M18 x 1.5 Bung 90 Degree Angle Kit O2 Sensor Spacer (Polished) Stainless Steel: Automotive Front 19x8.5 ET 37mm, 11mm Hill Engineering Spacers, 225/35/19 tires Rear 19x10 ET 52mm, 275/30/19 tires The factory suspension was lowered 1".
I know a lot of people like them but I can't stand black rims. To me personally it looks SO much better. It's beautiful.
I don't usually post on here. I use the forum to learn about these wonderful machines. But when I saw this transformation, I had to post and say WOW!! I love the look now way better.. Good move E!!
Thanks! I need to figure out how to take a video while driving. I'm sure a cell phone won't cut it. It's a lot louder now than before, so I need to tread lightly while driving through my neighborhood!
Nice change....looks great. Nice wheels... I know someone else that has those, but 18" That exhaust must sound great....video when you can.
