    Can anyone please post pics of the new Esprit please ?
    I've seen it in Road and Track ( now this is how a mid-engined sportscar should look) but am unable to post pics.
    As stated in another thread I'm lucky enough to have the fiirst deposit here in Dallas/Ft Worth on one.
    I have no definate idea when they arrive but am anxiously waiting for my first new sportscar. :)

    I can tell you that there are NO photos that the factory has released and all of the pics out there are either computer generated or renderings from some artist. That being said, I have seen the actual photos from the factory and it does look very similar to the lines of a Gallardo but, not quite. Dec. of '08 we should see another type of sports car from Lotus with a V6 engine...possibly a 2+2...rumor has it that maybe the M250 of long ago...oh, and by the way, late '09 is when you should see delivery of the new Esprit replacement.

    Road and Track I swear has pics in their Future Cars edition which I cant seem to find now.
    It is supposed to have the BMW V-8 at 400 hp or so.
    With the current horsepower wars being waged, by 09 I hope it will be closer to 500.

    If it is a true Lotus, then its light-weight should more than make up for its engine being slightly less-powered. :)
