That is pretty low. It has the updated wheels as well. Wonder if it has any collision history?

It's a 6 speed which is ok with me. No nav and just traction control. The colors leave me cold though. Maybe you're right about the collision thing.
    Very cheap though.

    hello,

i know you guys are gonna hate me for this. but this car was on e-bay a while ago and i inquired on the low price, and the dealer did respond indicating there was an issue. i don't recall exactlly what it was. sorry. but it was enough to delete the e-mail and move on.

the seller did reply within 24 hours with the reason.

Imports Unlimited, specializes in cars with "issues". Ive seen thier place. Nice shiny cars for sale in the lot, all priced below market. In the shop, a garage that resembles Dr. Frankenstein's chop shop.

Actually, I don't think that price is too far off target. It's a GT and has 22k miles...

No way you could buy a "no stories" coupe for this price. These cars have held their value pretty well over the past 12 months.

Im looking to pull the trigger on a yellow coupe sometime this year, no rush. Do you guys think that I can get a clean Coupe or Spyder 02 or 03 with Cambiocorsa for 45-50k?

You should be able to do that fairly easily. I just picked up an 04 spyder with 5k miles for under 60k.....I've seen 02-03 cars go for under 50k a lot.

Very true...even at an authorized dealer. Ferrari / Maserati of Central Florida has a yellow / black '02 Spyder Cambio. in inventory and they're asking $52k. I've seen several '02 GT's (both Coupe's and Spyder's) going for less than 50k. Of course, they're out of warranty...;)

I had no idea these cars were trading hands for under 75k. This is a car worth considering...

How reliable are they? How expensive is service/maintenance???

I am considering one for next year. The 2002 are all asking $49,000 to mid 50's. 2003's are in the mid to low 60's and 2004's are in the mid 60's. They have a timing chain so the maintenance is far cheaper compared to a Ferrari. I have heard the manuals (are rare) are rubbery and the cambiacorsa's are so-so - the usual herky jerky in town and slap you on the back shifts when you're on the throttle. I'd like to hear from owners too about their reliability.

www.maseratiforum.net. Most owners there feel that their cars are very reliable. The CC is an acquired art, it takes most a while to get used to it. However, it is conisidered very good by most. The manual is generally considered not on par with an S2000 or similar, but still not bad. Wonderful cars, truly a most desirable Italian exotic for a bargain price (relatively speaking).

They are reliable. The cambiacorsa is fun. They have improved from 2002-2004, however I have heard that the older models had updates as well to improve shifting. I always put mine in sport mode as you get a quicker and crisper shift. On the downshifts in sport mode you get the pops with the tubi which is a plus. Herky jerky unless your gentle on the accelarator in gridlock traffic. Other than that its not really an issue. Actually, its not really an issue at all.
