new M5 hybrid

an absolute crying shame! Hybrid TT straight 6......so much for the nimble Q-Ship

 

I considered myself a BMW enthusiast. Not much anymore- too much weight, too much extra crap (to say nothing of the buck tooth grill styling). Currently renting a BMW- the touch screen interface is a royal PITA, nothing is easy. I would never buy a car with this touch screen interface.

 

But the weight! Having had 20+ M cars, I just cannot understand the current crop!

 

Blasphemy, absolute blasphemy... The style, grotesque. The weight, a joke. The mechanicals/battery, a bigger joke. BMW is and has been a joke of a brand for the last 15 - 20 years. No wonder they can't hold value.

 

these are the only 2 M cars that I have kept after owning nearly 30 of em. I did GoldRush in a newer M4 and while it was fast, it was soulless. Really sad that BMW has lost what made it special. (and that e36 is one of the original LTW's).

Remember when we thought a 3600lb M3 was too heavy! lol
