Niiiice. If Mike B. goes on a drive again with us around the lake you should bring that. Two Chrome orange Elises, that would really be a rare site! Have fun, don't get caught... BT

Here ya go, Fred... I think you could give him a run for his money! http://www.metacafe.com/watch/288175/lotus_driving_lesson/
Congratulations to one Elise owner from another. Fred- Part of the deal that goes with having an Orange Elise is that you have to dress like the Great Pumpkin and drive around leading the Halloween Parade. Another wild color is the lime green. Owners of those have to get Kermit the Frog dolls and put them in the passenger seat. Image Unavailable, Please Login
"Lift" (the term the toyota camp uses for when the second cam is active) is rather fun isnt it? In a stock Celica GT-S, it was just as loud from inside the car as it was outside...that thing must sound bananas with exhaust! And much respect to the person that came up with the idea to put the car in a pumpkin patch. genius!
All - thanks for whe well-wishes!! This car is so much fun to drive..... it's more like a video game than driving.....when the second cam opens, it's like someone kicked you in the ass. You can see, the first order of business last night was taking off the hard-top. That sucker probably wont see daylight until the car eventually gets sold. The top-free driving is where it's at..... Plus, at 6'01", 230lbs., getting in and out is nearly impossible with the top on!!! I saw the lime green - aka krypton green, and although it's funky, I think the orange is the best color for this car. Awesome pic w/ the pumpkins!! Dave, sick shots of the CS! Martin, I don't think so.... Your driver 1,500 miles in under 48 hours, my driver 1,800 miles in under 48 hours - picked up at 10:00pm in MN on Sunday, delivered to me at 7pm on Tuesday!! Griff, that video is amazing!! That guy probably doesn't care if there are velvet ropes when he parks....
Put the seat all the way back before getting out. It makes it a lot easier. Then put your left hand on the sill and your right hand on the left hand side of the passenger seat and push yourself up and slide your left leg out and over the sill and rest your butt on the still, and stand up and pull your right leg out of the car.
Yeh, yeh, yeh......... There's just NO WAY to make the ingress and egress subtle. LOL.... When I originally looked at these cars at The Collection, the salespeople got a good laugh seeing me get my body stuck while folded in half on the way in, and then having to roll out onto the showroom floor to get out........ Luckily, I am getting better at the contortions, and taking the top off makes a huge difference......
Don't think so. Picked up Monday morning 9:30am, delivered in Miami Tuesday 3:30pm (with a stop in Baltiomore loading the other car that took 2hours becasue they did not have the friggn car ready) That is 30hours for 1500 Miles, average speed 50Mph Your guy say 45hours (not even 48), 1800 Miles, average speed 40Mph ...not that anybody is counting LOL (damn...I just did....get it....ha ha ha....where is my therapist....)
That is the best damn video I have ever seen. Reminded me of the Spec Miata races I am doing. The beginning (unfortunately never the end... )
thanks fred, I think my dad is the same size as you. he didnt want to get it because of "blind spots" is that true? if we did get one it would have to be a t-top cause we are both big. well im just tall..lol
