Hi! i am new to the forums, and assume will have some credibility issues, but i hope we can sort those out! here i will copy paste of my posts in a thread i started on another forum (not sure bout the forum rules, if i cant post the name of the forum i will delete. *********). i came to ferrari chat hoping to reach more 599 owners. basically it is a 599 conversion done by mansory work in progress, here is what i have posted so far:

I know there is not much love for Mansory on these forums, but i decided to post nonetheless.
as some of you would say my "perfectly fine and classy" black 599 is currently at Mansory, undergoing the stallone upgrade (which some of you consider an abomination).

Now, I made it perfectly clear above that I am aware how some of you might feel and i do not give a crap, so please refrain from trashing this thread and trolling, go do it somewhere else.

So here are some pix of the progress on the build. the color is .... drumroll... matte red! check it out!
other then the styling upgrades i am upgrading the interior with alcantra and possibly some engine/software upgrades to give it more powahhh, and the exhaust.

Feel free to discuss, just dont go into the whole "mansory is tastless crap" direction, keep that opinion to yorself please. i hope i wont have to repeat myself again. thank you in advance...

the rims will a different set of black rims
and please no "love the color not the car" comments either

Ihave not been to Mansory myself and have not seen it in person, but i believe this is alcantara or something close. not sure though since i did not specify exactly what i wanted (which material, i had a choice between a GTO look or stallone which is much more expensive. wont say more on pricing but you can find one on Jameslist...), so they are doing what they feel fits best. the base car is black 599 with tan interior, and i find carbon fiber inserts look less good then in black interior, hence they went for alcantara and not cf.

The seats are stock i think. i said "i think" cause initially they proposed to replace the seats but the stock cf seats are very good, so no point. so they just upgraded with some alcantara insers.

this car in person looks like a different take on the 599 rather then a aerodynamic upgrade. think of it as a "zagato" ferrari. i am not too fond of other aerodynamic kits they do, but this is completely different. thing is i never liked how 599 looked from the front. the back is just perfect, but the front had something lacking in terms of presence of the car on the road (as far as i'm concerned, especially when you compare it to the murcie). what i initially asked them to do was a 599xx front bumper, but that would take way too long to develop, and since i wanted the car this summer, it was either a GTO look or this. I absolutely love the matte red on this car, hope it looks as good in person cause the matte red wraps suck, they have much less depth to them. cant wait!

Please continue to update this post with pictures! It's always a pleasure to read about projects like these. Some people find modifying Ferrari to be sacrilegious, just ignore them!

Matte red is surely a bold color! By the looks of it, it combines very well with the matte black roof you're getting. Looking forward to more pics of the build.

Seems they're also overhauling a 458 Italia in the background?

i am sorry i was not clear, this is my car. the color i initially wanted was red, but i did not specify what kind of red, and since the guys at mansory are friends of my little brother, they always improvise on our cars. so it was a surprise for me as well that they decided to use the newest color! basically i gave my car for stallone conversion, and the rest is up to them.

The idea is interresting, so please post any new pics to follow the job (even if I don't like the "mansory" name on the seat, it should have been yours) as well as final engine caracteristics/development
