NEW MASERATI design

Even if it's not particularly original (looks a lot like the new front-engined ford supercar. I can't remember the name), it's FABULOUS!

GR-1, I agree, based mostly on it's proportions, specifically the looong nose and greenhouse way at the back. I think this long and elegant design is a great direction for Maserati, the current Cambiocorsa is too short and stubby.

This would also leave the door open for Ferrari to return to mid-engine v12s.

 

While the design>product won't be exactamundo, Koby makes an interesting point. Let the winds of debate begin -

 

Very nice! I wouldn't worry about similarity to the 612. The 'face' is very different, and imparts a unmistakable Maserati look. The side windows appear too shallow for production, but I realise there is some exaggeration in renderings that doesn't translate to the street.

I would say a morphed Z8 and Viper

 

Looks like a cross between a Vanquish and a Chrysler Firepower (without the chrome trim).
