Just registered with the board and am "checking in" for the first time. I've been following the board a bit over the past few months and it really seems to be a good group.

For reference, I've been a Porsche/MB owner for a number of years--including: Boxster S, 996 TT, E 500, and SL55. Like Elvis, all have left the building.

But, my daily driver is a Cayenne Turbo and I still own an absolutely clean 993 C4S, so the genesis of my board "name" seems pretty obvioius--a Porsche guy in the Ferrari camp that is a Southern Cal alum, to boot.

But, all be at ease please, 'cause I've decided its time to cross over a bit...I have a deposit down on a 430. In the meantime--which, really means a "long time"--I'm in the market for a 550 to tide me over.

I'm looking for a 2000/2001. Titanium/Black would be nice but other normal combos might do, too. All the regular needs: reasonable miles, full service and books/records, no paint work, shields and recent TBelt work if possible--basically, a solid car all the way around.

If anybody has a line on a good one that's for sale, give me a shout.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to weighing in once in a while...Glad to be here.
