    Hi All. I am a new member to the board. I don't own a 348/355, but aspire to one day. My wife just had twins 10 mos ago so.........I'll have to settle for my 944 Turbo S and learn as much as I can here in this forum.
    I just want to tell all of you that your cars are absolutely beautiful! Love this place!

    A warm welcome to you. Congratulations on the additions to your family. I couldn't imagine having two at the same time. Good luck. The guys are great in this sub-section and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'm sure you will be the proud owner of an F-car in the very near future.

    Welcome and congrats on the kiddos. As a previous 944 Turbo owner and true lover of all porkers I can say you have great taste in cars.:)

    Welcome indeed. 944S is not a bad start, enjoy and hope you get into 348/355 in time. Well worth the wait.

    Welcome, and thanks for the kind words. Congrats to you and your wife for the twins, I suppose that means you will have to own "TWO" 348's/355's so your twins won't fight over who gets to drive it when the time comes :D

    Welcome! I'm also aspiring to be a Ferrari owner... I have a "Big Plan" that's working on a 10-year timeframe towards a 348. :eek:

    Congratulations on the twins!! :D :D :D

    As to the Porsche 944... my Dad had one of those when I was little. He sold it at 244,000 miles - so they're pretty reliable. Eventually, some of the costs for the electrics (namely, the pop-up headlights) were a little high, but wasn't too bad. The real reason he sold was because he got promoted at work and the new job came with a very nice company car... so he just couldn't justify keeping the Porsche as well when he was getting a perfectly useable car from the company. Oh well... :eek:

    I had a red/tan 944 for all of a month back in the 1980's. Fun! Drove a 944 Turbo once. Quick beast for that era.

    Lots of Bosch fuel injection parts and talk around here for the 348s and 355s, so you'll fit right in.

    thanks everybody for the warm welcome! I don't want to talk too much about my Turbo S on this board, but I am happy to hear its a respected ride. It sure is fun to drive and mod.

    Hey Gothspeed, after looking at your avatar shouldn't I be congratulating you on YOUR twins?!? lol

    I too am in the planning stages of future ownership. Learning about these cars from Fchat is part of the fun especially during these "pre-ownership" years.
