I was at the dealer and out front was parked an F430, 488 and SF90 side-by-side. The SF90 is significantly more modern and more impressive than the previous models. I was actually pleasantly surprised because I hadn’t seen it before in that context. The SF90 doesn’t photograph well - it is much lower, wider and curvaceous in the flesh. Btw, for everyone here who hasn’t driven an SF90, reserve your judgement on the LB until you drive it. Driving the hybrid is a different but quite unique feeling. I think Ferrari has resolved it very well given their obvious constraint. Very responsive and very smooth. No lag in the way it puts the power down and effortlessly smooth in traffic (which is an unfortunate fact of life). We tend to be nostalgic on the older cars and I do love my 430 Scuderia but the Pista is just a better drive - that’s what 10yrs of progress does. The same thing will happen with the new cars. Not to Mention the interior build quality and telematics are superb in the new cars. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Time confirmed on Facebook: "A revolutionary sports car. A new chapter in the Prancing Horse’s history. Don’t forget to tune into the live stream on 24.06.21 at 2:30 PM CEST." which is 830 am Eastern
I would kindly request Ingegnere, if he is the same guy, whose sketches (about F430) i first saw some 17 years ago in another forum, to make a sketch of F171, inspiring from the additional clues provided by the Gallera’s video. As we all know sketches are often better than the actual car. So if the real thing isn’t good enough, I’ll have the sketch just to look at (chances 99%) or to use it for my one-off (chances 1%).
Ah, yes the 430 sketch—good memory! This was a (very) quick sketch—no straight-edges were exploited in the making of this—and really not sure what the roof will look like; could be quite different between coupe and spider. The door sill area, I think, is close. And, BTW, angled door bottom edge, so taller door sills, LOL? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147932764/ Unfortunately, the video didn’t give much away.

I, too, would like to see any further thoughts (sketches) Ingegnere has on the new car. You might remember he almost exactly predicted how the 812 would look. If what Albert-LP says about the car is true, we are in for a treat! Isot's render is beautiful. And as for what what Cesman said about the SF90's appearance in person vs. in photographs, I agree. Though I'm not a huge fan of the way it looks, especially from the rear, it does look far better in person - pleasant even. Very unphotogenic.
Everyone is talking about a 3.0 liter V6 hybrid with one electric motor developing about 750hp, is this confirmed or just speculation?
Looks to me as they are protecting SF90 Vs trying to compete in the market... The hp game has moved on massively over the last 2 years and 750 for a mid engine super car feels like last generation....780/800 AWD would have been an interesting proposition (850 would have been a must have)....750 and probably RWD not sure that will be enough to differentiate Vs McL and even Porsche (Taycan/ new GT3 does 2.8 to 60) and many other cars that are 150k cheaper... Curious what it will do to F8 prices
If you check instagram of Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari Design Director you will see sketches of new Ferrari, he posted this 4 days ago. Looks like this new V6 https://www.instagram.com/p/CQFx1B4jhxV/
Looks like the SF90 to me or if it’s the V6 it looks like a miniature SF90. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Simple 7500 rpm redline is not 9000 rpm redline. Best thing about the 458 is the lump behind the driver's seats.
Found these on Instagram stories. Despite the camouflage I'm really liking the proportions. I think this is going to be a good looking car. Still a massive amount of padding on the entire rear of the car. You can clearly see it will NOT look like what we see, now! Also, that odd sharp edge/soft curve window thing is still going on in the side windows. Interesting.
