NEW MID ENGINED V6 (LITTLE BROTHER)

I am still wondeing on why ferrari doesn't want to make the headlight look like it is in one piece instead of making cars with black roof they should hide the vent themselves by putting a black highlight on the headlight to make it look more "organic" instead of making it look weird in certain angles.

I also like the sound of the v6. The lower revs sounds like a quieter/muffled version of the f12 and when it goes to 5000 to 8500 rpm it has a nice sweet sound similar to the f12 but muffled. The only other v6 sounds that I like are the NSX(NA1/NA2), Giulia Quadrifoglio, Ricardo V6(Artura) ,Mazda KL(aka Ford Duratec V6) and the best one which is the Busso V6.

 

Franks changes are epic. his 3/4s view makes the car look SO much better. now that I have seen his critique I cant unsee the design 'flaws'.

 

While Frank likes the car, The 430 isnt anything to be proud of so I kinda chuckle at Franks comments on everything

 

I don't know if anyone else is getting "melted ice cream" vibes from this thing or not . The surfaces just all look melted into each other

Ferrari 296 GTB hybrid is a supercar of firsts for the Italian icon

Will there be the option to colour code the sills as was available for the 458? I like the way it grounds the car to the road. I think I prefer it on the 296 too, looked good on Frank’s render.

Lotus just unveiled the Emira , and damn ... that's gonna be fun to drive! Not nearly as fast as a Ferrari, that's for sure , but a modern manual transmission with a supercharged V6 for less than 100k ?! Seems like they nailed it with this one ... and just look at it . I just got my first Ferrari this year, and I really enjoy it, but man, there's something about a manual transmission that's also very satisfying. Got my deposit in.

Love it but it should have 600hp.

 

550 to 600hp just to offset the additional 200kg from the interior creature comforts. But nevertheless the emira v6 is definitely a bang for the buck like the gtr was a decade ago. The only difference is that the emira v6 is analog rwd car and way more beautiful than the gtr

 

I believe it's supposed to be based on the old Maranello Concessionaires livery. It doesn't quite come off as elegant though, I think it's too heavy-handed at the front.

 

Then it wouldn’t be $90k base.

 

Is the 296 supposed to be at Goodwood FOS? Didn't see it at today's supercar run. Ferrari are missing some free advertising if not.

Disappointing, I was categorically told it was going to be the yellow one doing the rounds.. maybe a customs problem. Agree, missed opportunity because I thought the McLaren Artura looked great, which surprised me, as the only McLaren I’ve ever liked was a 675 LT. I wouldn’t buy a V6 Hybrid anyway, but think all the recent designs of McLaren have really all come together in this Artura. Also, first time I’ve seen a Singer, got to say totally get it now, was stunning.
