Anything about the prices? Obviously at least 300k. But I wonder how much more? :)
Not an answer but my thoughts... I should think there are a number of ways pricing could go: – It becomes the replacement for the F8 and its priced at 10% more than the car it replaces, perhaps a little more depending on the sales of the SF90 – As above but the cost of technologies used mean a higher (20/25%) price increase over the F8 so Ferrari maintain their margin – A new "dino" style car is introduced at a lower price than the F8 and LB is slotted in between that and the SF90 (or its replacement)
IMO it will be half way between SF90 and F8. New entry is ROMA then Portofino, then the rear engine LB and LB spider , then SF90
New video by Varryx, unfortunately doesn’t show anything new but at least the engine doesn’t sound as bad as I thought it might. Any updates about LB?
IMO a way nicer sound than the TTV8. A shame that the car won't go the route of Maserati and be build on a carbon tub.
Frankly I can't wait to see Little Brother (whatever the hell they will call it). About time for an all new car.
Sounding much better in this video than the previous ones. Hoping this will continue to improve moving forward.
Don't understand the reason to add any camouflage. Clearly its a 488 GTB . Its going to be different and on the new chassis like the SF90.
Perhaps Ferrari doesnt mind the publicity. Free advertising creates buzz and discussion above an upcoming new model.
Different air intakes, body panels, “high voltage” signs, and they don’t want it to be confused for a 488 variant.
Mehh, still sounds like a six banger. Can not wrap my head around a Ferrari with a six in the last 25 years of V8's or longer
Whatever they do I hope the footprint is kept as small as possible and the front overhang as short as possible
Im assuming that’s going to be the case. Where will they go with it? Sub 7.5 seconds to 200 kph? That’s staggering.
It will be between the F8 and SF-90 . I highly doubt they would offer something faster than the SF-90. Having said that in the coming months we will see F8 VS Pista sprints.
Not sure how you can tell this as the mules for the powertrain testing are 488s so basically same as an F8. We can hope for LB to be more compact than an F8 but we don’t know it will be. And in fact we can pretty much predict it won’t be as they will never make a car with less room than its predecessor and also that it will probably share the platform of the SF90.
On the subject of size: I presumed the Roma would have a smaller footprint than the 812, especially based on engine size and mission. I was wrong. We’ve been calling LB “little” but it may turn out to be large (same size as sf90) and not light (same weight less a few sf90). Time will tell, but I bet similar to sf90 in most metrics except cylinders, power and price.
A 1900kg (4180lb) car would be a step in the wrong direction compared to a 1435kg (3157lb) F8 Tributo. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
