NEW MID ENGINED V6 (LITTLE BROTHER)

As soon as I hear Dyno Jet I close my ears and walk away. Interesting its the preferred Dyno in the US. And somehow mysteriously always has higher results. To me as a real figure would be an engine dyno and that's what I did with the 2 engines I built

 

I really dislike the look of an I PAD being glued to the dash.

 

No problem with that. My 720 s is around 730-740hp not more..
If you are around the Nordschleide aeria and want some highspeed run, i am frequently up there so mybe we could compare a few datas.
My Gt2 Rs is aswell parked up there, for some mods (alignement), but he is not as powerfull as the pista/F8 or 720s are.

 

Another video of the LB, still not wearing the production body, unfortunately. Very curious to see the design of this car and how they solve the issue of a quiet V6 TT.

 

It’s ok....most of these guys don’t know or care about good sound anyway and believe the 488/Pista actually sounds awesome. Ferrari will sell all their cars to this group and the next after them. Doesn’t make them posers or less of an enthusiast, does allow ferrari to adapt and remain in biz. Diff tastes.

 

I'm sticking with the 458 spider, had enough of dealer games and lies. I will get rid of the F8 Coupe right away as it's come so late in the season they promised me September but its still on red 10, these guys think we are stupid

 

IMO the car with the white camo sounds very nice, maybe even a little V12ish.

Nope. What people have said is that the 488/Pista sound good enough and everything else is miles superior to the 458.

 

Couldn’t agree more. It’s the most fun car I’ve driven...by far.

PS, the Pista sounds pretty amazing too. I love the subtle turbo wine in the cabin and the sound of the engine as you push it hard and bang through the gears! Amazing car.

Im looking at the differences. Notice the extra duct in the side ducts. Must be for extra cooling or the battery cooling.

Also the other ducts where the new air intake is with the F8 and Pista.

 

The car with camo actually sounds pretty darn good on approach at the 3:50 mark. In comparison to videos shot from that same corner of F8’s on approach, this little V6 actually makes a lot more noise and potentially a more pleasant sound.

 

So will Little Brother be introduced in 21 or 22?

 

No update yet to info in #457

 

If I’m not wrong, LB should be with us by 2021. My Ferrari dealer (accuracy is pretty OK) was informed that the mid-engine range should be full hybrid by next year. I’m not sure if others have heard the same.

 

Will be smaller car than F8?

 

It will use the same substructure of the SF90

 

Can't see the F8 being done after one year, I figure they show LB in Mid to Late 21 for a 22 introduction. Remember SF90 only now starting production and not many F8 Spiders being built yet. Wonder what they will call Little Brother.

One of the test mules (assuming it’s the hybrid) sounds very good in that video and far better than the muted V8.

Is the LB really going to replace the F8? If so, it’d be unlikely that Ferrari is going to unveil the car in the next 2-3 years.

 

LB is the new V8 replacement due to be shown in 2021

 

Would that be a 720S replacement ??
