New one look like like a plate of steaming hot, Bavarian pile of ****....

Much like the current "Bangled" Beemers.....

Dont mind the old ones, but id still rather have a Renault Clio Sport, they are higher spec, faster, lighter, gripper and about 5k less.... And you can get a version signed by the f1 drivers....

Frank Stephenson, current head of design at Ferrari (and the rest of FIAT IIRC) penned the current Mini, and did a brilliant job. I don't think this car needs to be restyled, it looks exactly how it should.

The Mini pictured looks to be the extended version that may be added to the lineup. The current and smaller Mini will continue to be produced I believe. So thankfully, all Mini's won't look like the one in the picture.

I believe they are enlarging the MINI according to the article.

Agree with previous poster, car doesn't need to be restyled. Maybe I should get a mazdaspeed miata. THey are selling those things for 19K. 8K under MSRP.

Love my mini. It's my daily driver. 28k miles per year, paid 19k for it. Glad I got the old style '04.

Enlarging the MINI is one of the dumbest things I've heard all day. What are they going to call it: "the sort of MINI"

    ;)

BMW has lost it's collective mind.

    They're ruining a modern classic.
