Put some new mirrors on the 348. Here are some pics. They're some small carbon mirrors from APR Racing. Tinted blue and both are convex, so the smaller mirrors, in addition to lighter and better aerodynamically, give a larger field of vision. The large blind spot on the right rear is significantly reduced. I'll paint the triangular mounting plates (they cover the hole and use the stock gasket) black so they don't show so much. Would Enzo approve? I don't know, but I do know these are somewhat similar to what comes stock on the 360CS. They aren't electrically adjustable either, but I'm trying to remember the last time I adjusted my mirrors and I can't.

The concave OEM mirrors still freak me out. Makes zero sense.

Your engine's bad ass but the mirror's a little Max Power. The CS ones are on longer stalks - perhaps you want to consider those instead?

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I guess if you like 'em, who cares what the rest of us think of it. You pays your money...

I was with Bruce when he got these. They are better than they appear. Purists will not like them but they are super light, higher in rear visibility, and Carbon Fiber. What is not to like?

I'd put it to a 348 track-car, but not to a street Ferrari. Anyway looks cool.

Nice find Bruce.....they will look even better when you paint the mounting plate......now lets get that injection setup finished so you can test the airflow resistance of those new mirrors at 200mph.......hope you didn't have to feed FBB on the shopping trip.....that would cost you more than the mirrors....lol.

Plugz, Can you take a picture of the car outside? The mirror will look better in sunlight.

It looks pretty good to me. A CF mounting plate will cap it off nicely. How much weight did it save?

Thanks, I'll take an outside pic later today along with a pic of the whole car. I like the way the lines of the car itself are emphasized without the mirrors sticking out. They saved 4.2 lbs-not much, but with better aero, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Maybe I'll buy a piece of cf to use instead of the aluminum-paint is drying now.

Hopefully, I'll be dialing in the injection this weekend. FBB and I were going to eat at Burger King, but they locked the doors on our arrival. We had to use the large conference room at APR to accommodate his bulk. We went to APR to look at wings. When BK closed the doors, it saved me enough lunch money to buy the mirrors-$185!!!!

Looks good except for the screw on top of the mirror assembly that needs to be shaved.

I see you hit the mounting brackets with some good ol' black Rustoleum. Only the finest for the Ferrari. :D

Sorry, buddy, I am not with you on this one. Maybe they'd be better on FBB's track rat. I like stock on these cars. Bruce, I think you have a CB addiction.

Put down the wrench and step away from the car.

Hi, I'm Bruce Plugzit and I am a CB junkie. I have been clean for, well, um, 3 hours?

    INTERVENTION!

    You mean BDR Racing Red?
Tires are Yokohama AO48-real sticky when hot.

If not everybody likes it, it must be ART!
What's CB? I don't know what it is, but I ain't givin' it up! I don't have a problem! Why are you all here? What's this about? I don't have a problem!
