By the way, FPPM's Mille Miglia model kit is of #0684 a 315S. It looks just like #0700 wich is a 335S.
Looks promising...unfortunately Serge tends to blow a lot of hot air and disappear with out warning. I have been waiting at least a few years for Drogo kits. Pretty typical.
ModelK is doing great work, also most of the kits are not made by them in the first place but copies of existing models.
Yes I had noticed than. They can be strange to assemble as they are set up for production runs in a small factory. Very well made kits with crisp detail. I am glad they made them as kits for us. The top on the BMW is amazing.

Dear F1Tommy, you seems to be well informed about the world of miniature. I have a shop, a web shop here in France where i'm selling model like FrontiArt, Mr Collection, BBR, and many more. One of my supplier was SMC but it seems that he disappear! Did you know what happen to him? he's website is closed, the email address doesn't work anymore... Also, thanks to you, i discover SMP 24, can you help me to enter in contact with him? I would like to see how i can distribute he's model I want to make more kit and transkit, i'm in discussion with Hobby Design also. Many thanks in advance for your answer! Guillaume
SMP24 is closing his shop. The Alfa Romeo concept he just finished is his last model from what I understand reading his Twitter page.
Yes SMP24 is gone for now. He may come back someday (I will lay money on it)but he does not like to sell to any shops outside of Japan. FPPM Ferdinand Porsche Mercedes T80 record car- 1/24th scale Image Unavailable, Please Login
By the way, we have a lot of very model knowledgeable people posting on this thread. Some amazing kits still being made around the world. And that does not even include the huge amount of wonderful military and aircraft kits available in high quality. Model building has turned into an artform.
I'm looking for the Jarama from SMP 24, if anyone knows where to find one, it will well complete my collection of 1550 Lamborghini model
I am not sure. I think he is still producing kits and parts. The website does seem to be down now. He is supposed to have another full kit Coming soon. I am going to try and contact him again. FYI, SMC was still selling the Maserati Birdcage in mid November 2016.
