I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. I have always wanted a great 250 Lusso in large scale, but looking at the few CAD images, I can see possible shape issues. The Body shape of the Lusso is one of the most difficult to get right. Time will tell, and certainly if they make an accurate body (along with the rest of it) then I'll be a buyer and will recommend them too.

We will have to wait and see. The nose/grill does look a little strange in this drawing.

Yeah the nose was the first thing I noticed, and in any view including overhead it looks wrong, and then there are little parts whose shape is off as well. Given that they are only showing CAD drawings, and we don't know if these are preliminary images, or final approved images.....then as you said.... "We will have to wait and see." I do hope they get it right.

The problem with the CAD drawings is that they are Isometric projections (not true perspective - which gives an odd skew to the images

Yes, I understand that. I guess for me, it is that all of the CAD drawings I have been used to working with have always shown me true perspective. We'll keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

I had similar issues with a Breadvan body I did in 3D. Most of it ended up as it should have but the front fenders needed some work once I had the print in hand. It can be a frustrating process indeed especially with complex shapes. The M1 was much easier to develop.

One more FPPM Aston Martin V8 photo. He has upgraded his kits with even better decals and now nice photoetch. Really interesting subjects from Fernando as usual.

Another Fein Design kit 1/24th scale resin kit. Always top quality resin slot car kits that are fine enough to build into curbside models.
