Yeah... he's a bit odd in that sense because that wasn't what he originally posted and all indications were that he was planning another detail set. I'm put off by the way he does business - he got so many requests for his 917 set that he said he would have to go through the orders and pick who he "would be able to sell a set to". Really? Says he's unsure about doing a second batch. Umm, isn't the cost in the time spent developing the parts but now you don't want to sell more of them? Strange way of doing business mate.
Hiro Maserati 250F 1955 aero and 1957 1/12th now available. The Porsche 962 Lemans will be next in 1/12th from Hiro in October 2018. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A Ferrari GP car from the same era as the Maserati 250F would be nice. Also a Ferrari prototype race car from the same era as the Porsche 962 would be cool too. A 1/12 512S with all the details Hiro is known for would be amazing. -F
Modellbau Werkstatt Trape's sets are amazing. The 488 GTE is not the most compelling Ferrari model but the addition of M.W.T.'s detail sets makes it pretty incredible. Kind of wish I bought a set, even though the 488 GTE is not at the top of my list of Ferrari cars to have in the collection. Anyone know of anyone who built the the Hiro model using the M.W.T. set? I'd love to see a builder blog. -F
Stephane Dufrene (Built Up Models) for one - there's another guy but I can't think of his name right now. No blogs, both have pictures up on social media. I'll post again when the name comes to me. Edit: Mike Chirivi
Finally a 1/24th quality Pan Am Porsche 550 from Fernando Pinto FPPM. He will also do the 1954 VW dealer car as soon as we finish the Cartograf decals for him. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
