Centauria is the same company on the Quattroroute-Hachette thread I started 14 years ago. They are a busy mainly news stand model and toy company but have ties to Ixo and PCT from Macau. They produce models all over China and South Asia depending on labor costs. I think the W196 in 1/8th scale was one of the nicest big models they did. They concentrate on 1/43rd and 1/24th scales.

PCT is the mother company organizing production in it's factories. This company knows what it is doing, but they will make a model to fit your wants and needs. About the only place they don't have a major connection to is the USA. They do only Hot wheels premium I think made in China. The best seem to come from their factory in Bangladesh. Fantastic models that put Minichamps to shame.

I finally have the 1/24th Alpha Model Roma and it is a stunner. The casting quality and assembly remind me of the Climax/Kojima Ferrari 275 GTB/C kit...... So perfect. Well done by this company. Now they need to start doing classic Ferrari's and 1950's-1980's showcars, sportscars and racecars. I mean how many Audi station wagon models do they really sell??

This month's Hiro might be an Auto Union Type C in 1/12th scale.

Maybe, but the wheel nut/knock off and bit of the wheel they showed in their first image are definitely Bentley type used in 1930s; Blower, Speed Six, etc. Could be another make of car, but....and I have not seen a wheel nut on the Auto Unions that looks like the one Hiro showed.

You could be right and I thought that also, but some say it is an Auto Union. We will see soon.

Well, well, well...there it is...an Auto Union. I was so sure it would be a Bentley! I expect this will be a pretty good kit, and certainly fills a void. Not one for me, but I think this will sell very well.

Looks nice, I'm sure it will present well. Would love to see a 1/12 Ferrari GP car from this era.

September 2022 Hiro 1/12th scale model. Looks like a W196 or 300 SLR tire.

Regarding the subscription style 1/8 models - does anyone have any information on the re-organization of ModelSpace with everything supposedly moving under the Deagostini brand from now on? It seems that none of the F1 cars have been offered in over a year and they aren't even mentioned on their site.
I'm still a bit angry over missing out on the MP4/4 a few years back. I actually had 3 of them in my cart ready to go but their customer service was completely unresponsive - it was clear that you were dealing with a call center - and my order never got filled. At one point I even got banned from their forums and all of my posts deleted which I eventually got an apology for and an admission that the admin had been way out of line but by then I'd lost interest in giving them any of my money. LOL.

I had forgotten all about the Beemax / NuNu 1/12 Lotus 99T but I now see it is supposed to be available at the end of the month. Has there been any news about their MP4/4?

I still have a small quantity of plaques for models for sale, that Stirling Moss personally signed/autographed for me for some of my previous production runs. If anyone is interested, feel free to contact me.
