I have several of their kits and have not had any issues. I got one part that was damaged, and they resent the entire month's package for free... their instructions are very good. I will say some of the assemblies can be awkward, but overall they are good models. with more time you can really super detail them... eventually I'm going to re-do the engine in the 917 and detail up the plumbing, as well as the electrics under the dashboard.

Good to know. Maybe it depends on the person and day that one contacts them for help. That said, the business is still of course all about the bottom line ($), and that's ok if all other ends of the business function well for customers.

Classic Museum models are doing the California. He said he will 3D print it in both 1/12th and 1/8th scale. It looks like they have improved the quality over the older models.

I thought it looked a little off in some areas. Yes better than their previous efforts, but might still leave a lot to be desired. I'll definitely wait and see on this one. So if it happens to turn out to be good, I'll buy one of the 1:12 kits. But... based on this companies poor quality and accuracy track record, this is a big 'IF.'

I guess you can't make models if you dont make a profit.

Obviously that is correct. But... one can also produce quality and offer good to great customer service.

Would be interested in seeing them. And maybe even the ones you plan to sell on eBay

I just bought the 1/8th scale, Bugatti Atlante..... supposedly going to be here in Feb. I'll post a build-up log... Does anyone know where to get approx 1/8 scale Crocodile faux leather / or real leather? I want a Crocodile interior like John Mozarts 57C....

Very cool 1/24th F1 news!!! The 1/20th guys are all complaining, but I love it. It makes perfect sense, so they match all the sportscar models!!

My thought as well - too dark or wrong shade of blue, etc.

    Hello

No particular difficulty. It was my first kit of this kind, on this big scale. The instructions are clear, so no problem. Furthermore, at this scale, and with a little documentation (easy to find), it's also possible to add details or modifications, such as real brake cables, real aluminum hoses to replace the plastic pipes supplied in the kit....

    I hope you'll enjoy yours !

How would you describe the body paint quality; is it as good as BBR or CMC? And what about color match from panel to panel-thank you in advance for your anticipated reply.

The paint is very nice, but slightly lower quality than BBR or CMC. But probably pretty close to the car's original paint !
I don't see any difference in color from one panel to another.
The main problem is the presence of numerous screw heads, which are not the color of the body panels, or the interior (beige and blue), or the chassis and engine. It is best to paint them the right color.

The references are quite close to :
    - pantone 4745C for the beige
    - pantone 7691 for the blue (seats, interior)
    - pantone 2166 for the chassis
    - MOTIP 54850 for the bodywork

    Etienne

Thanks for the note. I'm looking forward to doing this model. I'm going to re do the interior in crocodile leather... like John Mozarts 57C... love the look of that. I was thinking of painting it like the Aerolithe, but not sure I want to spend that kind of time...
