I don't think it's that great a print. I am also waiting for the Alfa T33 TT12 he said he was doing.

I would suggest you to check on this site : https://lemansdecals.com/index.php They are making 1/12 scale decals for the 333SP, they have 5 or 6 versions available and the decals are far better than Pattos !

Thank you. Yes, and all Lemans, I am looking for IMSA mainly, and I have the Belgium sheet from Pattos Place. I have a few of their decals, and they can vary in quality. Pattos Place and Indy Decals are better quality, although Pattos Place artwork can also very, the printing quality is much better.

I was in Nuremberg for the Toy Fair. To be honest the model area is really a lot smaller than it used to be. That includes cars and trains. But I snapped a few things. Italeria has a new Lancia Stratos with spare engine. Burrago has some new F1 cars and the Ferrari Le Mans car. And there were new 1/8 scale models (Mustang, AM Bond car, Lotus sub car, Cobra, VW Bus, Veryon), Kyosho F40 competiton, some new Pagani models.

Is the red e-type large scale?

I think it's a Norev 1:12. Great overall shape and paint, but clunky on the details. Their big ones are built to a low budget number and you can tell...solid axles, non-branded tires, most openings are closed off (including the grille on the E-Type, which has a radiator-like sticker in it; F40's fronts are solid plastic as well), very basic interior.

That said, I think they're good display pieces, especially for the price. I think I paid $75 for my E-Type, and also have the F40 and the wacky 'flying' Citroen DS on a stand.

E-Type is definitely 1:12th. Material is polyurethane resin which is a little different than plastic. Prices for the 1:12 E-Type from all suppliers is generally well over $200... If you were lucky enough to buy one for only $75. then you got a terrific bargain price.

I found my order, it was actually $100 and was on clearance. It's the red convertible version. They're diecast metal as stated on Norev's site.

Pattos' decals must be horrible then, because the ones I have from lemansdecals are bad. Especially the whites are too translucent and you have to cut out the decals (i.e. the decals are one big sheet, not separate).

Pattos Place decals are not bad. I was able to 2K them, starting with a mist coat. I just did the Shadow LION DN9B 1979 using the Hachette 1/24th model and they went on pretty well. I did cut them up and resized a few. Also started that printed 333SP in 1/24th, I made the 1995 Scania car, the first race for that car. I was at the race, so it holds even more importance to me. Still finishing the Interscope Daytona due to those 2 excursions :)

Well as promised, he sent me another full set of tires and wheels, all three wheel styles and another set of tires...and the wheels are all STILL different sizes. Now that I have two sets I'm good to go (like you point out above) but I was actually hoping he'd fix his CAD model so everything's right in the first place...maybe he will, I dunno. I'm probably gonna have to pull the trigger on another one pretty soon...it's really a sweet kit, wheel issues aside.

Oh and my .02 on those LeMans Decals: Don't bother. I picked up a few sets off FeeBay and they're pretty rough...very grainy images and low-quality printing, in my opinion.

Might have to order this. CMM 1/12th 1978 Lemans Alpine A442. Not sure about decals, but it looks pretty good. Available in 1/8th scale , along with the new Lamborghini Countach. They also just did a M6 road car and a Ferrari Daytona in 1/12th and 1/8th.

Pattos Place has decals for the 1978 A442 winner in 1/12th but not 1/8th.
