All is well, thanks. Have loved Ferraris since I was about born LOL. Going down to Supercar Weekend too. Glad to hear from ya.
Thanks Tom...I agree with you on the quality of the parts...a lot of warped parts...but they have a lot of models others don´t have. The scale of this new model is 1:18 Ton
Thanks. Not a very popular model scale. Most 1/18th collectors don't build kits(only a small amount in Europe). Maybe they plan on doing alot of factory builts of this model. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2010 model/photo contest-Chicago April 24th 2010

I'm dying for more information than that tiny catalog photo, which seems to be of the Superformance Coupe rather than a vintage car. Fine by me, since it's designed by Pete Brock and perfected for actual street driving, I would have a blast building a few...but modelers are a sticky bunch and would probably be upset if it's not an original.
A replica would be a big mistake, although Fujimi used replicas to do both the Cobra 427 and Ferrari 250 GTO kits. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2010 model/photo contest-Chicago April 24th 2010
Tamiya is doing a 1/24th Aston Martin DBS street car?? and Mercedes SLR 722. Revell is doing a Mercedes SLS in 1/24th scale along with the Ferrari 458 kit. We have alot of new kits coming out this year in both resin and plastic! Time to start building models again. How can you do it with so little time?? Cut back on TV watching and video game playing for starters. Its amazing how much time we waste doing things that produce nothing but lost time. What? Where did you hear that? If this is true, I hope its full detail. I'm going to get multiples for making them into other AM models. Mercedes SLS and Italia are also welcome additions.
More of the Hiro 56B 1/20th kit. And the Tamiya Aston Martin in 1/24th scale. It is curbside, but with lots of effort in the interior and body. It is primarily created using the Model Cars kit, but with bits from MG and some other items. I ended up donating my MG and Model Cars resin kits for this project, and a lot of photos. There will be options for things like the wiper motor on the top of the windscreen and bumpers or filler blanks. I'm working on decals - on the sheet will be 164, 168, 170 and 172 from the '57 TdF, and #169 from the '58 TdF. Instruments are done and look fantastic, as are the TdF plates, stripes, and most fo the door numbers. Anybody got a good side shot of #164? Steve D.
It is good news to read that Steve Devaux and Harold Bradford are working together on the Ferrari 250GT Tour de France 14 louvres project. I can't wait to build one ! Best regards, Gilles Lachance
Yes it is. Harold does great resin parts and Steve does great decals. Don't be suprised if this model is more accurate than the Hiro kit (when they finally do it!!). Harolds Cobra Daytona was very nice, although I don't like resin windows. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2010 model/photo contest-Chicago April 24th 2010
I have the MG kit 80% built so I won't have any incentive to get the new HRM kit...but I'm sure it'll be a nice one.
Steve, You have me confused. In 1957 #164, chassis 0703GT slid off the highway and down a hill in the TDF. In 1958 #164 chassis 1033GT won the TdF. Aren't you really looking for 1033GT photos in 1958? Gary
