    Thanks Tom!
I have been lurking here for more than a year and never knew about this great thread.

Also many thanks for posting the pictures of the beautiful Fisher Monza/Mondial master, I definitely want one of these along with the 250 Lusso.

Will be interesting to see how Fisher handles the wire wheels on the Monza.

I would suggest the hand-laced wire wheels from HRM.

    Tom,
you made some in 1/12 scale I remember, were these available in 1/24 ?

I have a set of the HRM wheels....they wouldn't be the correct style IIRC.

No offense to HRM but they can't get there regular orders out in a timely fashion nevermind about doing supply work for Fisher if that is what you were suggesting. Fisher will be making them in photo-etch, its the only way to go for a production kit. Besides the wire rims HRM make are for Duesnebergs or Alfa 1750's, that type of car. They look really nice, as all of HRM's products are.
Hand laced Borrani sets in 24th would be great but nobody can do them in a timely manner. And of course the cost is high. CMA made them in 12th and 24th, different depths and offsets.

Are they still available? I'd be interested in a couple of 1/24 sets.

    Tom,
Just in case one falls into my lap would it be better to start with the Lightweight version from Kyosho or will it not make any difference? Will there be parts for the IMSA version?

I would buy the cheapest Kyosho 1/12th F40 you can get. Red would be best unless you want to repaint the whole model. The transkit will include the entire F40LM front clip, F40LM wheels and tires and the F40LM rear wing/defuser.

Detail sets from MFH and Ejan(same company) for the P34 Fujimi to do the Japan 1977 GP car and Hasegawa/Tamiya Lotus 79 kits in 1/20th scale. The P34 has rain tires(I think ICON just did them...monkey see monkey do!).

I picked up this rare (I think) 1/16 fujimi model on ebay for $45. no one else bid on it, surprisingly.

    I also have a F40LM, F40 Monte Shell, 328 GTB, 288 GTO and 512BB on their way, all 1/24.

Does anybody know anything about Otaki Model Toy Co.??? I came across a 1:12 Lamborghini Countach LP500S today at a swap meet that I thought was cool, but since I don't have the skills to build it I thought I would see if anyone would be interested. I have the sellers info and I took sme pics with my cell, but I have no way to download right now due getting a virus that killed my computer and right now I am having to use someone elses computer.

    OTAKI MODEL TOY CO.
    KIT NO. 0T3-107
    Lamborghini Countach LP500S
It was started but it didn't get to far.

If anyone is interested, PM Me and I will see about getting the model for you and shipping it as a courtesy.
