The Mini Delta 860 Monza will surely be on display at Retromobile, Paris, beginning Wednesday February 2 2011. I guess the sale price will be above 20 000 Euros as is usually the case. I never had the chance to meet Patrice de Conto. But, his team mate Patrick Badot is a very nice guy. Both are very talented modelers.
New 1/12th scale Ferrari 250 SWB from Classic Museum Models available in kit form soon. It does not look to bad at all. Looks like it is a basic kit but the detail looks pretty accurate. They do make some nice hand laced wire wheels in 1/12th scale, some of the best I have found pre made. Check on ebay for this product. Sigh...I wish Hiro would get back to LM Ferraris..... F1 is cool and all that, but where are the cars that were promised to us years ago?
Seeing that Tyrrell P34 model.............Derek Gardner, who was designer of the P34 and all the Tyrrells during their most successful period 1970-78, passed away a few days ago. Obit: http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_news_item.php?fes_art_id=42771 Paul M,,

I did read that. Sad news for a very original designer. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago March 19th 2011
Hobby Design Ferrari 599 GTO transkit in 1/24th scale. It has a complete resin body judging by the photos. The 599XX they did with seperate body parts was a major problem. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago March 19th 2011 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dear Gilles, Thank you for your nice comments. Hope to see you again at Retromobile in February. I am afraid you are wrong about the price of the 860 Monza and of our other 1/8th scale models, they are about three times less expensive than the one stated.
Ditto to what Moriaan said. These are works of art!! It is an honor to put photos of your companies models on ferrarichat. I consider you and Patrice the best in the business. Please...im begging you to make more large scale model kits in any large scale you decide Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago March 19th 2011

Very very nice, an absolute musthave! The tradition of whitemetal continues, my compliments to mr. Suber and his new Minerva brand!
I bit the bullet and am doing the APM/Revell 1/12th scale 250 Breadvan. Its taking alot of work to get it into shape. Every vent was wrong and the front needed a nose job. I was looking at photos of the real car as restored now and the nose is still wrong for Lemans 1962. They added tabs to the center nose hole and forgot the vent up by the cockpit. They also forgot the engine cover metal scoop. The big problem is the cockpit itself. They changed it after around 1964 so they could put it up for sale. The dashboard was heavily modified and has never been changed back. I will show photos of my 1/12th Breadvan under the Ferrari Expo thread later this week. By the way, Minerva 43 seem to have the cockpit correct!! Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago March 19th 2011
Just so everyone knows, the Pink Pig is out from MFH and it includes a spare driver's door that you can use after you cut the one from the body out. Awesome kit, but limited to 100 pcs so if you want one, hurry up and get it. I know several have already been claimed. Nic
