The 64GTO was bought by Chris Evans from the UK. Feeling43 was out of business, but Serge Divies is continuing his work, the daytona is the first in the new series and is a reworked version of an older kit. Esprit43 is a great initiative! a continuation of the old craft of whitemetal. The 250GTO 1962, and the Breadvan were their first releases.
This might help. 4 ignition coils and a generator. http://www.john-w.de/models/misc/stu/stu_1512.htm http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/696/ferrari1512engine.jpg/ Paul M
Fisher Model and Pattern has now put the Ferrari 500 Mondial and 750 Monza 1/24th kits on their website as coming soon!!! Can't wait to get a few of these. They also say they might do a Porsche 906 in 1/24th scale, also most welcome. Paul, please do the PAN AM Mondial's and Monza's. That PAN AM 1954 black number #2 750 Monza is one of the best looking race Ferrari's of all time. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
Thanks for the excellent cutaway of the engine Paul. It is the best help for what I needed to know and more! The model was a good help also. Patrick
Not sure if you have been watching, but Fernando Pinto who also makes 1/43rd scale models is again making his wonderful fully assembled 1/24th scale models. So far they include the following models: F1 1/24 F1 1956 Ferrari/Lancia D50 Nurburgring German GP F1 1958 Ferrari 246 French GP F1 1959 Cooper Climax T51 British GP F1 1961 Ferrari 156 Italian GP F1 1962 BRM P57 Dutch GP F1 1964 Ferrari 158 Mexican GP F1 1969 Matra MS80 French GP Pre war Mercedes W154 1938 German GP Lemans 1/24 Ferrari 250TR Lemans 1961 Soon: Ferrari 166MM Lemans 1949 Jaguar C Type Lemans 1951 Mercedes 300SL Lemans 1952 Jaguar C Type Lemans 1953 Ferrari 375 Plus Lemans 1954 Carrera 906 Targa Florio/Lemans 1966 Alot of these are the only ones available in 1/24th scale. They have engine detail and are well made. I have only seen them on ebay so far from crazycar19(wich is run by his daughter), and they are not cheap as they are handmade in Portugal by the model maker. I am trying to talk them into making kits also. Since I don't build 1/20th scale F1 kits this would be perfect for me, and they are still less money built than a Hiro kit !! Latest photos from Air trax of the Lancia B20, Ferrari 250 Lusso and Beltley, along with a service van kit in 1/24th scale. The 250 kit will also have a photoetch sheet, not shown. I threw in the Fisher 1/24th 750 Monza master. already order directly from mr. pinto the 246 f1, he will bring me it when next time he comes to macau without mailing charges of course.
The Pinto 246 in 1/24th scale is by far his best. Just got one today. Also received the latest Joe Honda F1 pictiorials from MODEL FACTORY HIRO. The color photogaphy is superb with many vintage detail shots. Joe Honda used alot of Kodachrome back in the 1960's and 1970's. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
A company called Bermat from Italy are producing several 1/24th scale transkits for the Quattroruote 1/24th diecast series. Here are a few of the Alfa's. They can be found sometimes on ebay Italy or contacted direct. They have a 156 GTA, GTV6, Alfa 75 Evo, 1983 Spider and Super Polizia/break so far. The Alfa 6 might be coming soon. The Alfa 75 is for the old Burago. Some new Studio 27 1/20th F1 kits, the Tyrrell 010 in several versions and the Alfa 184T in early and late season versions. The 1/24th scale 2 Cats Modelos Porsche 908 has been out for awhile and is a simple kit. Here are a few others they list. On the bottom is the latest Hiro F1 detail book, the Lotus 99T and 100T. These are top quality books with many crisp vintage color photos. Another new company. They have already done a nice 959 Paris-Dakar 1986 in 1/24th scale and are now working on a Pozzi 308 GR4 transkit in 1/24th scale. The 959 is $190.00 for a transkit! http://modellingmaster.com/lang/ru/ferrari-308-gr4-rally/ Rather expensive for transkit but still very nice. Tom, do you know of a working website for Twocats? I couldn't find their "dot com" site and am interested in the 156 F1. What do you think about their Breadvan?
That's the website I was using. The breadvan body is not as good as the Carrera slotcar. The 156 is 1/12th scale. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012

Just a reminder of the new plastic Ford GT kit coming soon in 1/24th scale: http://www.similr.fr/ford-gt-gt1 Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
I see Fujimi has done 2 of the 3 cars they did in resin now in plastic. They did the Pantera, Dino 206 showcar and F50GT in resin. I would love a plastic F50GT Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
New Hiro 1/20th F1 kits: BRM H16 P83 engine parts, Brabham BT46 press, Ferrari 312B. That H16 engine is amazing. No one makes them in 1/18th. The 330GTC is made as a kit by Airtrax in 1/24th scale. Look back a few pages for more information. This is mainly a kit section, not a built up section. Not to many kits in 1/18th scale( a few mainly made in Italy and diecast trans-kits from Asia). Here is a new one from Hobby Design. It is a 1/24th scale transkit for the SP1 Ferrari special and requires a Fujimi 430 donar kit. They are on crack asking $170.00 for it but it does look pretty good(unless it has the famous Hobby Design warping). You can tell I am still mad at them about the horrible Hobby Design 599XX transkit they made!!
