CMM BRM P153/160 in 1/12th scale!! I always loved the P160. I think they wanted to do Pedro's car.

Nice work on the 308GTB model by the way.

Yeah, I saw that too. I had Yardley BRM as a toy car when I was a kid. Loved it.

    It's also for "Sifort". ;)

Insane 1/12th scale Hiro Lotus 97T kits Renault engine build directions. I am not a Senna fan at all(he was considered a great driver and an ass when alive driving people off the road at will on purpose), but this model kit is amazing..........

Your guess is as good as mine. No release date given. You guys are getting a little slow over at f1m on everything but Hiro and Tamiya releases.

Just finished building this 1/43 scale AGS F1 JH24. It is based on a tameo kit for the AGS JH23 and I was able to find a resin transkit on ebay to make it into the 1990 car. Although the resin kit wasn't very precise.

I got the driver (Tarquini) from a diecast model. And yes, he sits a tad too high. Oh well.

Why bother with this? Well, I got a chance at driving a JH24 and wanted the model as a souvenir. Sadly they repainted the original car with some hideous fantasy livery (and did a few other mods as well).

PS: While the tameo kit is ancient, the transkit is probably more recent. At any rate I didn't think this model has been covered here anyway. :)

I'm hoping, and expecting, Tamiya will make a 1:24 scale kit of the new Ferrari super car. Did anyone here buy the 1:12 Enzo kit? That seemed like a good idea on Tamiya's part to make some more money on a product they introduced a while back.

The CMM kits are all around $ 400. Which is a lot of money but then again still cheaper than trying to find a long gone kit from Europe where you can easily end up paying twice as much.

Next up from Fernando Pinto........Porsche 804 French GP 1962 in 1/24th scale!!! About time someone figured out F1 cars and sportscars should be made in the same scale....
    1/24th!!! 1/43rd and 1/12th don't have this problem. Vanwall VW5 1957 coming next also in 1/24th scale.

Tamiya really screwed things up back in the late 1970's when they came up with 1/20th scale F1 kits(so that they could fit the toy motor batteries in the Tyrell P34 kit because the tub was to narrow in 1/24th scale for the batteries. That fact came from Ebbro's owner as he was an engineer at Tamiya back then!!!)

Tamiya will also present the rerelease of the 1/24th Ford Zakspeed at the Nürnberg Toy Fair.
They will also present a 1/10th R/C version of the Ferrari 458 Challenge and the F2012.
