Fair enough Edwardo, I respect you are also busy and I understand your angry and I am definitely not taking sides (I have had a few deals with you in the past). Clive has always seemed quite genuine to me from the various pm's/emails I have had with him and he has been involved in these projects for a few years now. I did contact him about a really cheap Mondial project in the Uk a few weeks ago which he would have snapped up straight away, but I never heard anything back, so I presumed he was away.
Clive has been away on a lengthy legal case in Korea almost full time for a few months now. Very hard to contact. I have been trying to catch up with him for about 4 months now but with no success and I only live about 5 miles from him. He won't let you down if he gets a moment. FF
I am sure Clive is doing all he can - that is the difficulty of a side business when one is often travelling. I have just heard that GT Auto Parts is attempting to make a Mondial Fusebox replacement - is that also through Clive?
It seems that we Mondial owners are not alone - the Testarossa guys have a very similar problem, and GT apparantly makes a sturdier box for them. Just sitting here thinking about it, The TR box and the Mondial have extremely similar electrical systems - I wonder how similar the fuse box would be? Does anyone have access to a TR fusebox to compare? - would be interesting to look at while we are waiting on Clive's return.
Spoke with Clive today. He is back in Singapore for 1 day. Only. He has been holed up in Korea on a case all year and has had no time for anything. If you are getting anxious, imagine his family. I will try to catch up with him in the next week or so and get an update on the fuse box. I am keen to get it finished too. FF PS I was right about the windshield - long ago resolved.
HUH! (bs) NO,,,,,, It's NOT HERE YET,,, COST ME 100 BUCKS TO SHIP IT. (And, for only a small fee, you can be a subscriber.) Edwardo
On Friday, the "Park" light began to glow ever so slightly while the car was running, and as the day wore on (at the track) the light got brighter and brighter - until it now fully on all the time. When I pull the handbrake up and down, there is a slight change in the intensity, so I think the switch is working fine. I suspect it is another one of those fusebox gremlins. I can't wait to get it replaced. If anyone thinks it is some other problem let me know. I am sure the handbrake is not set, but I have not pulled the trim off the car to be able to look at the switch. Thanks, Roy
I design multi layer IC boards. (wiki,, "net list") But, personally,,, I don't think our cars need one. Lets see, I only count 4 DPDT and 2 SPST relays; 2 for headlights. 2 for head light motors. 2 for windows. Not in need of a relay; starter all external lights fuel pump Digi ignition IMO Edwardo
I am back in Singapore for a couple of days so I will be dropping one of my Mondials off with the electronic guys to be used as the test. Hopefully this can finally be signed off soon.
