They’re a great little set up for people like yourself that don’t have the space for a traditional 2 or 4 poster. My brother bought this model about 2 years ago… https://www.dtmtrading.com.au/product/quick-lift-portable-vehicle-hoist-3500-kg-worksafe-approved/ His first choice was a quickjack but they were all out of stock. This one was available click and collect so he snapped it up. I’ve seen it in action and it’s pretty impressive. He’s a happy camper, just like you! You pack it up and out it away. The stands takeup no more room than a ladder and a small box for the hydraulic unit and hoses.
Logically, Costco is NOT the sort of place people would go shopping for something like this so it makes sense they had some stock, no Costco customers bought them and now they’re unloading them - good luck Ken!
Not correct. Costco sells a large variety of automotive/garage equipment. The Quickjack stock at Costco sold out within a week, they were on sale for the same amount in the US at the same time. I suspect the costco stock was the older quickjack model with older style connectors and quickjack basically offloaded through them. With regards to Ken's "order". if its too good to be true...
I bought the same trolley jack too Mike! I wanted to buy another one about 3 years ago, but they only had steel ones. They were more expensive too…
If you google it, it comes up as a scam on several motoring forums. @kena I'd be cancelling that credit card
Scamwatch are taking a 50-50 approach.it might be a scam but their processes aren't perfect so it might be legit. I'll see what Paypal can do.
Now he was a REAL contender for the GOAT title, and not for dressing like a goat either! I thought he was terrific back in the day. An amazing guy off the track too.
