Happy to report that it has been the best $500 I've spent on the 575 so far. The ECU has made a noticeable difference. "Normal" mode feels like the old "Sport" mode. In "Sport" mode the car now feels a lot firmer, particularly at the front. When accelerating from a standing start the car rides very flat through the gears and the porpoising that was there with the old ECU is gone (in sport mode). Definitely feels more sure footed. I don't think I need to go further with FHP springs etc for my type of driving. In case you're interested the ECU is located behind a panel in the passenger footwell Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
lol....what a load of BS......more like "I've spent a couple of hundred bucks and there's no way i'm going to say anything other than I'm very clever and it was money well spent"
ahhhhh.....but that's not all they changed, is it?? no....that ecu goes with other changes. you know nothing, greg snow.
Aaahh again you know nothing #183960 was the ECU the first cars were delivered with including mine. As you know they were criticized for being too soft so #197211 was the replacement ECU which was then fitted on FHP AS WELL AS NON FHP cars. The ECU was further modified but the change from going 197211 to later ECUs is less noticeable than changing from 183960 So after a particular assembly # ALL cars had 197211 (or a later ECU). The FHP pack of course further changed the handling, but non FHP cars with 183960 vs non FHP cars with 197211 will feel softer Is that simple enough for you?
You are wrong The change in ECU happened regardless of whether FHP was ordered Stop before you embarrass yourself any further http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575-sponsored-bradan/314085-575m-shock-absorber-ecus.html
And here is the Ferrari technical bulletin regarding the FHP option. The only ECU that was different is the steering ECU. The original suspension ECU was a cause of the soft handling and was changed for ALL cars not FHP only. Get it? embarrass myself?? lol...good one ferrarifixator! You're just trying to justify your dud purchase. move on...nothing to see here.
lol as much as you like but sadly for you, you're wrong. Stop embarrassing yourself, stop deflecting and stop being a troll. A Ferrari bulletin is BS? Of course it is Mr Genius Post facts that say otherwise or STFU
