Would never have thought of looking for a car museum in Greece- well done!
Even Greek billionaires have to park their cars somewhere The building as you can probably gather in the pics is built in a spiral shape with cars arranged over the multiple levels. The owner (Theodore Charogiannis) built it to store his collection, about 300 cars with 110 on display at any one time. It's a great place to visit as it's usually not very busy. We spent about an hour there and had the place to ourselves. I picked up a memento, they have produced paper weights in the style of a wheel spinner with their logo embossed Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 575 has been with me for about 2 years now. For some reason, the plastic coating on the switches went off earlier this year and turned into a real sticky mess. I stripped just about every plastic panel and switch from the interior and sent them to Sticky RX in the USA. Sticky RX Refinishing Solutions ? Refinishing Services for Exotic Car Interiors The result is simply outstanding, extremely happy. The communication from Dave at Sticky Rx was first class and I can't recommend him enough. Wish me luck with the reassemble! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hopefully Dave will chime in, but my understanding is that it is very different. No chance of going sticky. The graphics are laser etched and not stickers like the OEM parts
Sticky Rx has a price list for all the different models and all the various switches and panels are itemised separately
Thank you so much for those nice comments, Greg. My team and I appreciate your business and your trust - thank you, sir! Yes, to be clear, our coatings are hard touch - not soft touch like the OEM. The color and sheen are a near dead match to OEM although our coating will never fail. We laser etch all graphics which is the same process as the OEM for backlite graphics. The OEM used (in most cases) silk screen / pad print technology for non- backlite graphics (they did not use decals). See this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q/520454-understanding-ferraris-sticky-interiors-technical-guide.html Please send me an email (not PM) and I can provide you pricing. Thank you all!!
Cars built from the 355 456M, 575, 612 etc have the soft touch junk. But easily removed with isopropyl alcohol.
The 599 and 458 are affected too Removing the gunk with alcohol just leaves a bright black plastic look, which looks terrible and cheap. Note the hazard switch in the pic Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's the normal sissy Steve355 version ........ the man's version is much quicker Image Unavailable, Please Login
