    Bit more progress today. Getting closer to changing the cambelts, lots of stuff needs to come off the front first. Drained the coolant from the block and radiator (let’s just say it wasn’t green ). Removed hoses, all drive belts, viscous fan etc which was quite a pain and took longer than I thought. Old alternator is out and a newer faster one will go in.

    Not quite 45 hours labour yet
