    finally got my gearbox back in today and everything hooked up. Very happy with the result, it shifts like a knife through hot butter and is quieter thanks to new bearings.

    Top end refresh completed today. Some detailing left but new hoses, vacuum lines, clips, plugs, plug wires. Pulled the distributor, new seals, cap and rotors. Hopefully have same time to finish the bottom end next couple of weekends

    I can only do one big job per weekend, so I’ll do that next weekend.
    I have noticed that even by just cleaning it up a bit it hardly ever comes on now so I’m sure when I pull it and clean the connection properly it’ll be fine.
