Top end refresh completed today. Some detailing left but new hoses, vacuum lines, clips, plugs, plug wires. Pulled the distributor, new seals, cap and rotors. Hopefully have same time to finish the bottom end next couple of weekends Image Unavailable, Please Login
I did it myself, but after I’d struggled and cursed my way through it I was pretty disappointed to read at the end of the online guide that I used: “This is so simple even a child could do it”.
Nope - rest weekend for me - going nowhere, doing nothing except usual swim and coffee. Reading and snoozing for the rest!

I can only do one big job per weekend, so I’ll do that next weekend. I have noticed that even by just cleaning it up a bit it hardly ever comes on now so I’m sure when I pull it and clean the connection properly it’ll be fine.
