Put a new sending unit in as my original was intermittently working. The new one has a larger hole where the oil enters and it works, but I noticed the pressure reading is dropping as the car warms up. Starts at 45lbs idle and jumps to 85 with blip of throttle, but warm seems to be about 35 and jumps to 65ish will get to 85 as rpms increase. My old on was the original Veglia, this is the replacement non-branded version. Any thoughts?

I have Mobil 1 mix of half 15/50 half 10/40 if anyone is interested.

Once warm you will always have low pressure at idle.

What was your "old" oil pressure sending unit's behavior (when it was working)? Just a constant value at all temps and RPM?

Thanks for the responses. The old one was always at 45 when at idle either at start and fully warm and would jump right to 85 with the slightest touch of the throttle, So for me after seeing this for 10+ years it is drastiically different to see the new behavior.

Try changing from 20/50 to 10/40 and see how you feel!!!!!
