I think Vinnie's gonna send an e-mail out too...not sure how many of your crew he has contact info for. Sounds like it's gonna be a good time. Now I just need to find a car to drive...
Yall might want to think about getting there a little earlier, its looking like there is going to be a big crowd.
I'm interested in the event (plus the 5th is my b-day; perfect for a drive). What is the focus / itinerary for the event? Car-gazing or... thx. I'll be in a silver F430 or a calypso coral 1969 Boss 302. M.
I think it will be car gazing in the morning with coffee, then the plan may be to head to our restaraunt around the corner for lunch then go for a cruise to wherever. There is also a car show at the kenner lakefront for save our lake that day so may pass over there after. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Thanks for the info. I see it's part of the Back to the Beach event: http://www.saveourlake.org/car-show.php Two car gatherings on the same day...nirvana.
Well, I just might have to break out the old official Louisiana section Fchat t-shirt. A pre-Katrina relic!
It looks like I'm in along with 2 buddies + 1 buddy-ette . We'll meet at starbucks in Mandeville in the morning and drive over with whoever wants to go. This should add the following cars to the event: 1. P-car 2. AM DB9 3. Gallardo 4. Either a murci or 599 Are we going to be able to get in and out of that parking lot without bottoming out? Looking forward to it...long overdue.
If someone does not answer this I will check it out ASAP. I will also take care of the bugs yall catch on the front end as well when yall arrive.
do you know how long it will go on? I assume it is all kinds of cars, right? I have a friend who might want to bring his restored Trans Am.
Yes, all cars. Not sure on time, but I'm thinking 2 to 3 hours with folks coming and going. See posts below...
Mandeville Crew, We're going to get the wheels rolling at 8AM sharp to try to make sure we don't have to park 3 blocks away and on the street. Ill try my best to get to Starbucks at 730-745.
You were about 1-2 hours too late...it was an excellent turnout with a very wide range of cars. By far the most successful C&C event that's been around here any time in recent history. I'm sure some pictures will be coming soon.
Some shots from the event. Also, here's a link to a lot more pictures from today - http://calloutsnola.com/showthread.php?800 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
