    Dave,
I have a trailer that will be available in about a week or so. I used it to haul my car to the FQC, last year, so it is friendly to F Cars. It's open, but a tilt bed, will all the tie downs.

Also, I've posted in the La and general discussion forum about a friend opening a Specialty Car storage facility in Houston. She will store your car for no charge, A/C facility, trickle charge, turn tires, run engine, wash, etc., again all at zero charge to FChaters from the affected area. You can call Sally at 281.799.3505 or email at [email protected].

Suggest you post what kind of work you are seeking, there are lots of people that can steer you in the right direction on this link.

I also have a tilt bed you can borrow, though I am in the DFW area. If something doesn't work out with waterboy's trailer, you are welcome to mine.

Thanks Guys!!!!! Waterboy, I'll shoot you a PM when it looks like I can make a run for it. I just hope and pray that she is still there. :(

I'll be in Houston tomorrow (9/3) through sunday. We had already planned a Houston trip and catching the 'Stros whip up on the Cards on Sun afternoon, so I figure we could use a little R&R!! Saturday we'll be doing some housing/job/etc recon.

My wife has a travel nursing job already lined up at M.D. Anderson. I on the other hand am not picky. Just something maybe parttime to keep myself occupied. I just recently left 16 years in the auto industry(Dealership master technician), but had to quit after a ruptured disk. Not to mention, all of my tools are in my garage at home. I just started up as a project manager for a custom house builder, so I'm really open to pretty much anything. I'm not trying to get rich, just build some $ for the Supreme Nut-Kicking I'll get if and when I move back. (Hmmmm, we always wanted to live in Houston)

Thanks again for everything y'all have done so far as Texans!!!!!!!!!!!!! Up here in Livingston/Onalaska I know the meaning of "God's Country"

Unfortunately, not quite as much as I'd like. When I quit the Auto tech job I went to work for my friend (who was the general on my house) as a jobsite project mgr. I came on when the house we are curently building was at 80-85%. This is the second house I have worked on including my own. So I'm pretty sure this isn't near the experience you'd be looking for. However, if you need some grunt work done,(trim take-offs, etc) I can always pick up another scale.

I absolutely in no way want to put anybody on the spot! My wife will be making some serious $ at M.D. Anderson and her agency will pay our rent for 13 weeks, so it's not like we'll die if I don't get a job. I was just thinking more along the lines of being bored to death for 13 weeks (and maybe pick up a few bucks). I can only spend so much time at Ferrari of Houston and Dave & Busters before they throw me out! :D

Well off to dinner, I'll talk later,

    Dave
