Would these work Fiat Parts and Supplies (fiatplus.com) The original owner has orange plastic screws on one side and metal on the other so hoping to match it up
thanks so much. I believe it’s 33mm for those screws. I hope I am right. cheap screws but shipping is $54
Good find - they also have red and clear http://www.fiatplus.com/RED-TAIL-LAMP-LENS-SCREW.html http://www.fiatplus.com/CLEAR-TAIL-LAMP-LENS-SCREW.html
These guys have them also - https://www.midwest-bayless.com/p-10648-15175598-4426555-oe-lens-screw-15mm-amber-lancia-scorpionmontecarlo-131-124-coupe-oe-nos.aspx
Sometimes a supplier in Europe, can use post which is much cheaper, Give them a phone call and asked. $54 probably is a minimum for them with DHL or UPS
In later production factory changed to metal screws. If your car has a replacement lens that may be why you have metal screws.Try swapping screws. I am not sure if they are interchangeable.
Early production yes but his statement sounded like OEM did not use plastic. They changed during production. My 90 has all metal but do not recall when the change took place.
My 88.5 had all metal. My 90 also. Both euros. I thought the color coordinated stuff was just personal pref. So you're saying the heads were plastic all around on the early cars?
Yes. I think generally greater knowledge of the product is a good idea prior to making definitive statements. I have worked on Ferraris for over 40 years, was factory trained on many, including the TR and have owned one for over 20 years and was one of the authors on the concours judging book for the TR yet I am forced to argue these points regularly with people who bought one 6 months ago.
yes plastic all around for the Monospeccio, but sure about the later years. I am just being picky I guess making sure they all match haha
Nothing wrong with that but be sure the plastic fits in place of the metal before going to the expense.
I saw another post where they posed that the stock plastic screw was 33 mm so I found two that are the same.
